There is no doubt that the navy has a significant presence in global affairs. The service has been involved in many conflicts, both in the past and present. However, one of the most recent deployments to play a role in international relations was its deployment to Mali as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. This military mission is meant to support counterterrorism efforts by supporting French forces and assisting with training and equipment purchases for Malian troops. The navy's involvement in Mali began on October 12th when France announced that it would be deploying 5 warships, 1 airship, 3 helicopters and 2 tanks to Mali. These vessels will provide logistical support for French ground forces as they fight against Islamist militants operating from the region. The marines accompanying French troops will also use these ships for security purposes while travelling through the Senegal-Mali border. In addition to providing logistical support, Operation Inherent Resolve will also bring new technologies into play. Two examples of this are NATO's Joint Standoff weapon system (JSOW) and Lockheed Martin Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). JSOW is a radar-guided missile that can be used offensively or defensively; it was first deployed on board USS George H W Bush during Operation Neptune Spear back in 2011. LCS is an amphibious warship designed specifically for coastal patrols and maritime strikes; it was first Deployed aboard USS John S McCain back in 2007. Both weapons systems have their own uses – but their deployment could mean big things for international relations going forward. It should be noted that not all deployments are political or military oriented; there have been occasions where civilians have been caught up in conflict dates back centuries ago. For example, HMS Sandwich sailed into Tripoli harbour on November 15th 1801 after being called upon by Napoleon Bonaparte following his victory over Russia at Borodino Battlefield two days earlier. At the time, Tripoli was under Ottoman rule and had been Siege by Russian forces since 1799; this event signaled the beginning of World War I which led eventually to Italy becoming neutralized belligerents due to economic reasons alone!

The city's commercial center is located at the intersection of Orange Avenue and West View Boulevard. The history of Garden Grove can be traced back to its founding as an agricultural village on the banks of the Santa Ana River. By 1887, many farmers had moved to Garden Grove from nearby cities such as Anaheim and Los Angeles because of its fertile soil and strategic location between two large riverside towns - Covina (to the west) and Burbank (to the east). In 1893, Mr. J.H."J"Watson founded what would become known as Watson's grocery store on Orange Avenue - one of several early businesses in Garden Grove that helped create its present-day downtown area. During World War II, gardenGrove became a wartime production center for aircraft parts due to its strategic location at Hollywood Airport within easy reach of both military manufacturing plants and allied fighter planes build at nearby Glendale Airport. After 1945, however, Garden Grove lost some key industrialparticipants to other larger metropolitan areas such as LA or Irvine County while they grew wealthier; nevertheless it remains an important economic hub for southern California with strengths in real estate development (residence prices have increased rapidly throughout much of Greater Los Angeles), professional services (lawyers are especially numerous), business services (a number of high-technology companies have their headquarters here), retail trade (bargain basement stores abound), foodservice (Caterpillar Inc.'s corporate campus now occupies one block northward across Central Avenue from City Hall), information technology (Apple Inc.'s new Research Park sits just south along I-5 near Northwood Mall), research & development (+6% yr growth rate 2010–2015)

Garden Grove, California (population: 132,000) is a city in Orange County, California. The population was 107,839 at the 2000 census. Garden Grove is located on the southern edge of Anaheim Hills and is bordered by Anaheim to the north and Huntington Beach to the east. It straddles Irvine Boulevard on its eastern border. The area now known as Garden Grove was first populated by Mission Indians in 1768 who named it Rancho San Bernardino de Anza after St. Bernardino of Siena. Rancho Santa Margarita was granted to Francisco Palomo in 1821 and passed through many hands until it was sold to James Kapp in 1875 for $1 million. In 1907, Garden Grove became an incorporated city with a population of 27,070 people. In 1948, Orange County opened the Garden Grove Freeway which ran from North Hollywood to Anaheim Hills and linked up with Interstate 5 near Willowbrook Mall. The freeway made Garden Grove more accessible and within less than two decades had turned it into a bedroom community for Pasadena commuters commuting into Los Angeles County. In 1966, then-Mayor Allan Nevins proposed that all Orange County cities be merged into one municipality under his leadership; this proposal failed but led to the formation of City Councilwoman Judy Chu's "Neighborhood Watch"watch program that aimed to reduce crime in neighborhoods surrounding City Hall during early 2007 protests over housing prices increase seen throughout Southern California A new library building paid for by surcharges on development along I-5 was dedicated on October 15th 2001 by Mayor Jerry Demings as part of celebration of 100 years of Riverside/Orange counties relations
The city of Garden Grove was founded on December 21, 1887 by two brothers, George and Harry Gardiner. The city was named for President James K. Polk and his mother, Sarah Gardiner Polk. The first post office in Garden Grove was established on November 15, 1888. The city’s population grew rapidly from its initial population of just over 100 people in 1887 to over 1,300 people in 1897. The growth of the city was due in part to the arrival of many agriculturalists who started a large fruit orchard and ranching business within the growing town. In 1893, the City Council passed an ordinance establishing a street railway system which served the growing town. By 1907, Garden Grove had become one of Southern California’s largest cities with a population of over 5,000 people. During World War II, Garden Grove became known as “theatalent City” due to its high concentration of scientists and engineers working at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LAL). LAL played an important role in developing America’s war effort during World War II and produced many wartime weapons including the atomic bomb. After World War II ended, Garden Grove experienced significant growth as new technology began to emerge such as television and electronic mail.
