From the beginning, these cafes provided a unique experience that took advantage of the natural Sonoma County climate. The first cafe was founded by Mike and Sandy Romanoff in 1971 as a small gift shop serving only coffee. It soon became apparent that this type of coffee could only be sustained through passion and dedication. The Romantics were certainly not afraid to put in the hard work when it came to making their coffee perfect. They used fresh produce from their garden as well as premium beans from around the world to provide a truly unique flavor profile. Over time, other local businesses followed suit and began offering their own unique cup of Joe. Today, there are over 20 cafes located throughout Sonoma County that offer artisan Coffee experiences for all manner of enthusiasts!

The Hollister Coffee Company was founded in 1951 by the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ivey. The company became a major player in the coffee industry, and has now become one of the largest roasters in California. They offer a wide variety of coffee beans, as well as espresso, cappuccino, iced coffee, and blended drinks.
Hollister, California is a small city in the San Joaquin Valley of California. It has a population of about 38,000 people and is the largest city in Kern County. The City was founded on February 14, 1853 by James Hollister and named after his brother-in-law, John Sutter. The city is located in Mono County on the east side of the San Joaquin River. It covers an area of , making it one of the smallest cities in California. The main water source for Hollister is groundwater from underground reservoirs near Bakersfield and Godella. Hollister contains six schools: Hometown High School, Hollister Middle School, Bishop Gorman Catholic High School, Donnybrook Elementary School, and Kern Valley Community College District’s Library System (KVCD). The city also has two parks: Fernald Park which includes portions of both downtown Hollister as well as its annexed neighborhoods to the north and south; and Jack London Park with its own skatepark and running track which opened in 1984.

Hollister is a small town in the Central Valley of California, located about 97 miles east of Fresno and 76 miles west of Sacramento. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. Hollister is part of the Fresno-Madera metropolitan area. The town was founded by entrepreneur Alpheus Hollister in 1868 as a small agricultural community on an oxcart route between Fresno and Placerville. When railroads arrived in the 1880s, Hollister became an important transportation center for goods heading to and from the Gold Rush towns of Madera and Tehachapi. By 1912, Hollister had developed into a busy commercial center with several stores, six churches, two schools, a post office and one hotel. In 1938 it became home to the first air raid warning system in California when Army Air Forces bombers used it to send warnings during World War II. During World War II, Hollister was hit hard by shortages of food and housing due to rationing. The town's economy revived after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 led to increased demand for materials needed for war production such as steel and munitions. However, following the war ended there was little support for continued development within HollISTER until today when efforts are being made to revive the local economy through marketing initiatives such as art galleries and culinary tours
Hollister is a small town in Kern County, California. The population was 3,471 at the 2010 census. Hollister was founded in 1868 by Theodore Hollister and his wifeAnn Ruffey. The post office was established at Hollister on October 6, 1870. The first store in Hollister opened on Main Street in 1872. By 1886, there were 10 stores in the community. A new store was built on Railroad Avenue in 1903 and renamed the First National Bank of Hollister after its initial opening. In 1925, the bank merged with the Peoples National Bank of Los Angeles to form the Peoples National Bank of California . In 1957, a fire destroyed most of the downtown business district and several homes within it; this caused significant economic damage which has still not been repaired to this day. Hollister is located just north of Kern County's border with Bakersfield and south of Riverside County's border with San Bernardino County. It is bordered by Interstate 5 to its east, Highway 99 to its west and Railroad Avenue to its north
