After World War I ended there was significant growth in local defense industries including aircraft production, shipbuilding, artillery production, ammunition manufacturing and plastics research which all took place within the confines of naval yards located near downtown Huntington Park until 1974 when those facilities were closed down due to budget cutsbacks within then-Department of Defense (DoD) National Security Programs Office (NSRO). At that point Naval Base Property became part of City Councilmember Don Webb’s District 2 boundary which included most all parts of downtown eastward along State Street until it met up with Municipal Street just south of Interstate 5 border crossing where it continued east until Millwood Road terminated at US 1/US 101 junction about one mile north from DoD NSRO campus now known as West Campus Research park dot com . Today there is no active military presence in or around Huntington Park other than Reserve units from various agencies stationed elsewhere within DoD who are called upon when needed but no regularDeployment has taken place here since 1973 .

Huntington Park is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 55,921 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first people to live in what is now Huntington Park were Native Americans who hunted and collected game near present day Lake Arrowhead and Indian Wells Creek. The Mission San Gabriel Arcangelico was founded in 1795 by Father Junípero Serra and his brother Gaspar de Portolà, two of the original Franciscans from Spain who arrived in Southern California after converting to Catholicism. In 1814, Juan Bautista Alta Piedad erected a small chapel on land that now includes most of downtown Huntington Park. In 1872, John Tilton organized what became known as the "Tilton Gang" which terrorized local landowners with threats of violence if they did not sell them their lots at fire sale prices within 24 hours. This resulted in the building of several blocks of commercial buildings on North Main Street between First and Second Streets called "The Row." Over time this district became known as "Tiltonville". In 1901,owntown Huntington Park was reorganized into four wards which are still used today; Central (northwest corner), East (east side), Southwest (southwest corner) and West (southwest corner). At that time there were only six businesses open in central business districts combined! The ward boundaries changed again in 1915 when it was decided that all but one block located south of I-10 would be annexed into east Side Ward; this left northwest Corner Wards unincorporated until 1933 when they were annexed into Central Ward also! A fifth ward – Northwest Corner – was established on February 14th 1965 when much of southwest SideWard including parts of downtown were annexed into West Ward also! On November 5th 1992 voters added another ward - Southwest Corner - to represent neighborhoods within northwest corner Business Districts north and east of Interstate 10 along with some areas northeast and south thereof! On November 11th 2002 voters passed Measure F which amended city charter to create an additional three City Council districts for residents living within 1/2 mile or “downtown streetsakes” as defined by City planners based upon community composition rather than single family homes / apartments concentrated along arterial roads outside those Downtown streetsakes
