In 1915, the first store in town opened called The Gilded Cage which sold watches and jewelry by appointment only to members of the city’s elite population including movie stars and other millionaires such as William Randolph Hearst who had his own store on Broadway next door which closed in 1922 because of Prohibition prohibition made gifts illegal without a license from the state government). In 1954, Don White became Manager at The Gilded Cage after buying it from its previous owner Mrs. Alice Beardsley who also ran it with her sister Myrtle Beardsley White until her death in 1951 when Don took over; later he moved it to 204 Sutter Street where he continued to run it until his retirement in 1977 when it was closed down due to lack of customers although parts were still being sold off online today under different names). King City, California is a small city in the western United States. It is located on the Kern River, about 60 miles (100 km) south of San Diego and an hour’s drive from Los Angeles. In 1960, voting began forKING CITY COUNCIL which would later become KINGS COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KING CITY INCorporated on MAY 6th 1960 by virtue of Resolution No.#7-1960 ratified by vote at a meeting called for that purpose held at Masonic Temple #2 on High Street aforesaid pursuant to Charter No.#1 adopted on APRIL 13th 1959 by virtue of Resolution p#5-1959 ratified by vote at a meeting convened under said conditions pursuant to Order dated MARCH 17th 1959 issued out thereof with full Power vested therein subject only to such amendment or repeal as may hereafter take place without notice thereto having any effect whatsoever hereinunder save only that all actions taken prior thereto shall continue in force until otherwise directed hereinunder without prejudice to any other right or power existing with or WITHOUT NOTICE TO THE CITIZENS OF KINGS CITY AS PROVIDED IN CHARTER NUMBER TWO THIS PAPER
