La Canada Flintridge was founded on November 6, 1887 by John A. Drysdale and his wife Emma. The town was named after a nearby mountain called La Canada Peak which overlooks the community. The first store in La Canada Flintridge opened its doors on January 1, 1888. In 1896, LaCanada Elementary School was built and became the first public school in Kern County. The post office closed on June 30, 1951 due to low mail traffic and changing postal service regulations; however, it reopened on October 1 as an annex to the Bakersfield Unified School District under new name LA Canadia Post Office #2 (now known as Monterey Park Post Office). On October 8, 1958 LaCanada High School opened operation after four years of construction by Mr. James Lanyon who also designed and built buildings for many other local schools including Our Lady of Charity Academy (now known as Del Norte Community College) and Our Lady of Loretto Parish Church (now known as Holy Name Parish). On July 14, 1960 LaCanada Municipal Airport opened when runway 10/28 at which time it served as an auxiliary airport for Bakersfield Municipal Airport which had been constructed about two miles down the road from where LaCanada Municipal Airport now sits. In 2001 borders were redrawn with portions of Kern County annexed into Los Angeles County while much of la Canadia Flintridge remained within Kern County boundaries until 2015 when all but 4 blocks south of Interstate 5 became part of Los Angeles City Limits

However, despite its popularity espresso only accounted for about 10% of total sales during this time period; instead, teas such as Turkish mocha dominated retail sales growth across Europe during this period This shift towards tea can be seen in terms of production techniques: while espresso machines employed plunger brewing methods usedto produce more evenly distribution of flavor over ground coffee beans before serving (ejection), Turkish mocha brewers use instant brewing processes that resultin more intense flavor profiles over ground coffeebeans which are then served immediately
