In 1912, Allerton Brewing Company opened its doors in La Habra and started producing fresh roasted coffee beans under the same name as Harrah's Brewery. At that time, Allerton Brewing Company was one of only a few companies that produced fresh roasted coffees (along with Starbucks) at their headquarters location on Doña Ana Street between First Avenue and Second Avenue in downtownLa Habra. Today, all three companies - Allerton Brewing Company, Starbucks Coffee Roasters, Inc - still operate within this historic building today!
