Laguna Hills is a city in Orange County, California, United States. The population was 382 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area and has a population of 10 million people. The commercial center of Laguna Hills is located on North Shore Boulevard and La Jolla Blvd., with more than 60 small businesses. Laguna Hills was developed between 1915 and 1925 as an agricultural community by developers including Clarence Saunders and Arthur M. Rubinstein. In 1925, developer Harry Chandler purchased 1,600 acres (540 hectares) of land east of Laguna Lake for $5 per acre ($100 per hectare). He named it Rancho San Juan Bautista after his father-in-law, who had helped pioneer ranching in Southern California. Chandler continued to develop Rancho San Juan Bautista until his death in 1957; his son Harry Chandler II took over the reins from him. In 1976, Harry Chandler III subdivided the remaining land into 3 tracts and sold them off to other developers: 134 acres (51 hectares) to Edwin Weisbach for $24 million ($ Today's value), 159 acres (57 hectares) to Seymour Sussman for $26 million ($ Today's value), and 158 acres (56 hectares) to Irwin Jacobs for $28 million ($Today's value). In 1984, Hyatt Hotels Corporation built its first hotel in Laguna Hills – now known as Hyatt Regency Laguna Hills – using proceeds from a sale of Hacienda del Mar Resort & Casino property adjacent to Rancho San Juan Bautista land that had been used by American Express Company as their corporate headquarters prior to their merger with MasterCard Corporation in 1998. The Hyatt Regency Laguna Hills became one of the world’s largest full-service hotels when it opened its doors on October 15, 1985 venueting more than 2 million guests during its inaugural year alone. As one result of this success story and others throughout the years since then, Hyatt Regency Laguna Hills has become one of Silicon Valley’s most important local economic engines with deep roots within our community dating back more than 50 years! The Carl Icahn School of Business at UC Irvine also opened up shop here in 2007 under new ownership which continues today making this another vibrant economic district!

While artisan coffee may not have a widespread popularity like commercialized coffee does today, it still holds a certain level of cult following due to its unique flavor profile and history.

Laguna Hills is located in San Diego County, California. The city was founded on December 15, 1887 by Italian immigrants as the town of Laguna Beach. In 1912, it became a part of the new City of San Diego. On November 8, 1946, it was annexed to the City of San Marcos and on January 1, 1979 it became a part of the newly created city of Irvine. The first people to live in what is now Laguna Hills were Spanish settlers who arrived in 1769. The original name for the area was Rancho El Centinela de Arroyo Seco (Rancho La Hacienda de las Animas). In 1887, Juana Martinez purchased Rancho El Centinela from José Nieto and renamed it Laguna Hills after her home province of Spain: Lagaña del Vallés. In 1912, when Laguna Beach became a part of San Diego County and Los Angeles County merged into one district under state law, all cities within these two counties were combined into one city with the same name--Laguna Hills. The Laguna Hills community was established in 1912. It is one of the oldest areas in Orange County and has a rich history that includes being home to Walnut Creek High School, which helped start the city's educational system. The area also saw heavy industrialization during the 1940s with many small businesses opening up in the area. In 1969, Laguna Hills became an incorporated city and has grown since then.
