Larkspur is a small town in the East Bay region of San Francisco, California. It is located about 25 miles east of San Francisco on Interstate 80. The name "Larkspur" comes from the Spanish word "larrea," meaning meadow or pasture. The first coffee beans were grown here in 1847 by Elias Howe and others in a swamp near what is now Golden Gate Park. In 1875, John D'Angelo started to sell coffee from his shop on Market Street. By 1886, Larkspur had become an important stop on the Santa Clara Railroad. In 1915, George Peabody began manufacturing coffee beans at his print shop on Second Street in Larkspur. He was followed by his son George Jr., who continued the family business until it was sold to Jassmann Coffee Corporation in 1967. In 1978, Anheuser-Busch purchased Jassmann Coffee Corporation and changed its name to Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company. The company built a new production facility in 1995 and renamed it ABQBrewing Co., Inc.. In 2002, Anheuser-Busch merged with SABMiller Incorporated to form MillerCoors LLC.. On October 15, 2006, ABQBrewing Co., Inc., along with Safeway LLC and JetBlue Airways Corporation announced they would be merging into Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (the parent company of Diageo plc.). This created one of the world's largest beverage companies with beer operations across six continents including over 600 breweries selling more than 200 brands

Larkspur is a small city in San Joaquin County, California, United States. The population was 15,815 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fresno–Madera Metropolitan Statistical Area. The name Larkspur comes from two sources: one source said it derives from an 1849 poem by Nathaniel Hawthorne, and another source says it was given to a settler by General Mariano Vallejo during his visit to nearby Tulare County in 1875. The original settlement at the site of present-day Larkspur was called "Hollow Lake" because there was no water available for irrigation until large quantities were brought in by the Northern Pacific Railroad in the early 1900s. Larkspur first appeared on maps as early as 1846 when John Sutter and company surveyed parts of what are now San Joaquin and Kern Counties according to their survey map of California. In 1850, Larkspur included all or part of present-day Fresno and Madera Counties. On July 10, 1850, Captain George Fenton discovered oil shale fields near modern day Larkspur while exploring for gold; this discovery led to significant growth in oil production in Kern County during the late 19th century. In 1863, Chauncey Gossett laid out a townsite named Gossettville within present-day Larkspur on land that he had purchased from José Altuve y Valdivia de la Cruz (the founder of Almaden). Gossett's town served as a trading post between Sonoma County and Nevada Territory beforeaderging into full town status on December 12, 1865 with 587 residents including 31 male citizens appointed by Governor Tugwell. On November 4, 1871 Constitution Act No. 7 granted cityhood to Larkspur with a total population of 1,451 A bill establishing Post Office Department for Stanislaus County passed both houses on February 3rd 1870 but died due to lack of signature from President Grant . On May 21st 1870 petitioners James Wetherall & Alfred Chapman collected signatures necessary for effecting annexation of Fresno into City Limits proposed by Mayor Wetherall but no action occurred until July 6th following which petitions were again presented to City Council asking annexation be made retroactive back up to Feb 3rd 1870 … finally incorporation took place effective date which has been celebrated annually ever since viz August 14th 1870

By 1893, smallbatch coffee had spread throughout the United States and was being brewed in more than fifty countries. One of the biggest reasons Small Batch Coffee is such a popular brand today is because they consistently produce high quality beans each and every time. Their commitment to their product has resulted in them being awarded numerous accolades including The World's Best Coffee Award three times (1998, 2003, and 2006). They have also been featured on TV shows like "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The O'Reilly Factor". testament to their popularity is that they are now owned by Roasterie Deutschland AG which operates internationally.

Larkspur is a small town located in Kern County, California. The population was 1,814 at the 2000 census. Larkspur is first mentioned in 1785 as "Larock". The name probably comes from the fact that the local cedar trees produce a peculiar kind of lark song. The town was founded by John C. Fremont and his brother-in-law George Armstrong Cupp on October 25, 1859, after they failed to find a permanent home for themselves in nearby Bakersfield. It was named for Larkspur Creek which flows through the town. In 1872, Larkspur became an incorporated city and it retains its original name today. The early days of Larkspur were difficult due to its location on the edge of a agricultural area inhabited by Paiute and Shoshone Native Americans who hunted big game including bears and deer. However, over time various entrepreneurs arrived to help create this important center in Kern County during the mid 1800s: ranchers such as Hyrum Alfred Smith (1812-1884), James Wickersham (1847-1924), Hiram Maxim (1853-1937), Charles Goodyear (1846-1925), Augustus Chapman Bissell (1850-1930) and Atherton Parsons (c1797-1870). One of Larkspur's most popular businesses was mercantile trade with goods brought overland from Californias Central Valley via Stagecoach Road eastward via Bakersfield until 1865 when wagon trains began running westward along US Route 95 instead. This interurban transportation system greatly facilitated commerce within California during those years and helped make Larkspur one of the most important towns in Kern County at that time - even if its residents didn't have much else to do other than trade goods with their neighbors! As part of California's rapid growth following World War II, farming families came to prominence in postwar Los Angeles County; many people who had grown up around agriculture left behind homes and businesses there to move into what would become known as Koreatown or Westwood Village - two major areas outside of downtown Los Angeles immediately adjacent to Pasadena City Hall - but they never abandoned their old hometown values or traditions hereabouts! Thanks largely to Mayor Harry Bradley's successful efforts starting in 1949 initiatives likeyythe new Parkside Shopping Center opened right next door where Main Street crossed McFadden Boulevard just off Ivey Avenue; thus Playland Park/Lakeshore Parkjoined Koreatown/Westwood Village proper for all intents& purposes (!); finally we've come full circle back whence we started...sorta!
