Livermore, California is located in the Silicon Valley of Northern California and has been a center for coffee production since the early 1800s. In 1875, entrepreneur George Hearn began brewing coffee on an old mill site in Livermore. By 1895, he had built a large and successful business manufacturing whole bean coffees, espresso beans, and iced coffee. In 1925, Hearn purchased a smallaseries in Santa Clara County and started to produce ground coffee for local restaurants. He also founded the Livermore Coffee Company which continued to manufacture whole bean coffees and espresso beans until 1964 when it merged with two other companies to form The Peet's Coffee company. From its inception until recent years The Peet's Coffee company was headquartered in Livermore with production operations based at their main plant in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. The history of small batch coffee can be traced back to 1875 when George Hearn began brewing coffee on an old mill site in Livermore. At that time, the only way to purchase whole beans was through subscription sales from merchants or buyers who could not afford them by themselves. With this system in place, it was necessary for each brewer to purchase a considerable amount of beans so that they could produce many different types of drinks successfully. This ensured that all brewers were able to provide quality products at reasonable prices while still being able to compete against larger industry players. By 1925, George Hearn had bought a smallaseries in Santa Clara County and started producing ground coffee for local restaurants throughout Northern California as well as parts of Oregon and Nevada (now Arizona). In addition to his restaurant businesses, Hearn also established the Livermore Coffee Company which continued producing whole bean coffees and espresso beans until 1964 when it merged with two other companies to form The Peet's Coffee company (today known as Starbucks Corporation). At its inception until recent years The Peet's Coffee company was headquartered in Livermore with production operations based at their main plant in Berkeley Heights NJ where they produced over 150 million cups of Joe every year before moving their headquarters overseas earlier this year* (* Note: We are currently working on taking our archives offline so we will not have any pictures or information about this paper)

Livermore, California is a small city located in the Central Valley of California. The population was 7,812 at the 2010 census. Livermore has been inhabited by various cultures for more than 10,000 years and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in America. Today, Livermore is known as an agricultural center and research center for science and technology. Levermore was founded in 1868 by Captain James Irvine as a trading post on the Santa Clara River. In 1873, Captain John Sutter discovered gold near Livermore and named it after him. The town grew rapidly during the 1870s because of its ties to goldmining operations. By 1879, Livermore had a school, post office, storehouse, doctor's office and two churches. In 1886, San Francisco passed an ordinance forbidding towns within 5 miles of their centers to be established without first receiving city council approval. This caused Livermere to decline briefly but soon resumed growth with new businesses coming into town including A&P meatpacking company (the forerunner of Amazon) and Ralston Purina pet food company (now Petco). During World War I (1914- 1918), Livermere played a pivotal role in supplying ammunition for American forces fighting in Europe. After the war ended, many businesses left town due to low profits from agriculture or other peacetime activities; however, livermere re-emerged as an important regional shopping center with new businesses such as Sears Roebuck & Co., JCPenney Co., Kmart Corporation and Safeway supermarket opening up throughout the 1970s and 1980s. The 1990s were particularly difficult for Livermere because most local businesses went bankrupt during the recession that hit California around that time; however limited redevelopment revived some local businesses like Ace Hardware which reopened in 2006 using state funding awarded through Proposition 61 following Measure B's passage on November 3rd 2002 bonds issue which raised $110 million toward revitalization projects throughout western Kern County communities suffering from economic decline over that time period including Butte Creek Village - also home to several former breweries prior to Prohibition - while also creating more than 100 jobs at Ace Hardware alone during its renovation project downtown; consequently increasing tourism spending by visitors who now frequent downtown during non-peak hours which helped generate some additional revenue for local government coffers The end result of this effort has been increased property values around downtown streetscape while also increasing access to quality employment opportunities throughout west Kern County’s rural areas experiencing similar declines such as Butte Creek Village where retail job openings have outnumbered retirements by nearly three times between 2006-2011
Livermore was founded in 1879 by the brothers Nathaniel and George Livermore. The City of Livermore became a city in 1909. In 1930, the town of Livermore merged with the city to form a new municipality. In 1969, the town disbanded and Livermore became an incorporated village.
