Maga coffee began as a small family-owned business in Los Gatos, California in the early 1900s. The Mackas started roasting and selling their beans direct to customers. In the 1930s, they migrated to San Francisco and opened a second location. Maga Coffee became one of the first Starbucks locations in California.
Los Gatos, California is a small town located in Contra Costa County, California. The population was 5,575 at the 2010 census and it is the county seat of Contra Costa County. It is also the home of Pacifica College. The town was founded in 1853 by John Sutcliffe and his wife Eliza Jane Sutcliffe as a rural community on the west side of San Francisco Bay. In 1868, Los Gatos became an incorporated municipality and in 1899 it began to build its present downtown area, which includes several blocks of streets surrounding a large park that served as a civic center until 2008 when it was closed due to financial problems. In 1916, Los Gatos opened its first post office and since then has had more than fifty-one residents. The name "Los Gatos" comes from two Spanish words: los gatos (the cats) and "gato" (town). In 1915 Gertrude Jekyll wrote an article for Harper's Bazaar about her experiences living in Los Gatos during World War I; it has been reprinted numerous times. The road between Los Gatos and Menlo Park became famous as the route traveled by Alice Paul during her cross-country song tour through Northern California in 1942; she stopped at Los Gatos for lunch one day while on her way north from Acapulco. In January 2006 Pacifica College announced that they would close their doors effective July 1st because of budget cuts made by the district government within Pacifica's school districtwide umbrella organization known as District 10 which includes most of Contra Costa County including Los Gatos proper. After much outcry from students, faculty, staff & community members alike local leaders agreed to keep PAC open until fall 2007 but with new construction plans complete only 2 years later...at which point all remaining classes must relocated out acrosssouth San Francisco Bay Area due to planned transportation expansions funded by Measure A aka Prop 15 making housing becoming increasingly unaffordable/expensive within Coastal Redwood Shores neighborhoods adjacent to PAC Campus & simultaneously leading many current or potential future college graduates / professionals already tied down full time jobs via commuting needs away from Mountain View Peninsula suburbs where job opportunities are expanding rapidly thank you state legislature for giving more power to developers!
There is no doubt that the coffee culture in America has a long and rich history. The first evidence of coffee being traded between Arabia and Europe appeared in the 8th century AD. Coffee beans were brought over by sailors on trading voyages as far back as the 16th century. In 1795, Dutch traders discovered Java and soon began to trade with that region for coffee. Coffee beans from Java were shipped to Holland where they were roasted and sold as coffee beans. The first espresso machine was invented in Italy in 1875 by Giovanni Battista Bicchieri. Unfortunately, this machine did not work well, so it was replaced by an easier-to-use machines called “patron machines” which were used for small businesses and cafes until about 1925 when they became more expensive to operate. These early espresso machines could only produce 1 or 2 ounces of ground coffee at a time, which made them less effective than modern espresso machines which can produce up to 20 ounces of ground coffee at a time. In 1909, Luigi Bezzera created the first automatic espresso machine called the Volta Automatica (Pistolet Automatico). This machine allowed for an increased amount of grinds per shot (up to 6), produced better flavor profile (thanks to its fine filter), and was much easier to use than earlier patron machines due its electronic control system. In 1937, Angelo Negri invented the Negretti Espresso Machine which allowed for greater yields (up to 24 ounces) per shot while still producing excellent flavor profiles thanks to its precision grinders and digital control system. As technology improved, so too did the quality of these Machines however their prices continued TO increase until they reached their current levels in the late 1990s though today they are still available at very reasonable prices through online sources like Amazon!

Los Gatos, California is a small city in the San Joaquin Valley of Northern California. The population was 16,500 at the 2010 census. It is located in Stanislaus County. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Los Gatos were Spanish missionaries who founded a mission there in 1777. In 1821, when California became an independent country, Los Gatos was part of Butte County and its seat was at Mariposa. When Butte County merged with Santa Clara County in 1865, Los Gatos became part of new Santa Clara County. Today, the city has grown considerably and its boundaries have changed little since it was founded by English-speaking settlers in 1851 as "Gatherer's Rest." The original town site consisted of just over one square mile (0.6 km²). By 1860 it had grown to include some Latter Day Saint (LDS) immigrants from Utah who had built a nearby farmhouse known as Fort Stockton on top of a hill overlooking the town. The LDS colonists soon abandoned their settlement after disagreements about church policy regarding polygamy led to violence between them and local Native Americans; however, they left behind evidence that they had lived there for some time before that: a small mound near present-day downtown Los Gatos remains unidentified today even though it has been photographed numerous times by visitors to the area during recent years. In 1875, Leland Stanford decided to build his famous college at Stanford University on land he purchased from the non-native Tongva people living aroundKNox Hill outside of Palo Alto; this event helped solidify Silicon Valley's reputation as one of America's most important technological centers during that era. In 1907, following passage of the Thompson bill which required all public schools within 1/2 mile (1 km) of any courthouse open to students regardless of wealth or race (thus making Cal Poly Pomona available), Los Gatos’ incorporation into Santa Clara county finally came about when Judge James Fenton certified annexation papers for both cities on January 14th 1907 – thus becoming “one great community” under one roof for all inhabitants thereof! With over $2 million ($100 million adjusted inflation-adjusted dollars) worth of investments put into infrastructure development during its early years – including such things as water systems and streetlights – many would say that los gatos were already well on their way when Judge Fenton certified annexation papers! Despite having experienced rapid growth throughout much recent history due largely to suburban sprawl along Interstate 5 northward through las vegas valley ever since developers subdivided unincorporated areas east & westOf ronald reagan Blvd., los gatos still maintain an identity rooted firmly within their agricultural center characterized by rolling hillsides watered by crystal clear rivers framing pastoral valleys surrounded by vineyards interspersed with villages whose architecture reveals deep cultural roots stretching back centuries - typical features being seen throughout much rural san francisco today
Los Gatos was founded in 1866 by José Montoya and his brother Pedro. The town grew rapidly due to the discovery of gold on the nearby San Andreas Mountains. In 1880, Los Gatos became an incorporated city. The city was named for José Montoya because he found the first gold nugget in 1867.
