Cohn's donation became known as Cohn's Corner and later changed its name to Paramount Studios. In 1948, MGM merged with 20th Century Fox and became 20th Century Fox Film Corporation. The studio continued under that name until 1993 when it was sold to News Corporation and renamed Sony Entertainment Inc.. Blue Bottle Coffee was started by two friends who met while working at local liquor stores together in 1990: Mike Levy and Tom Deming. They bought a used equipment lot near North Adams MA and began making espresso drinks out of whole beans instead of pre-packaged iced coffees like most cafes did then (which often contained flavors such as vanilla extract). With Blue Bottle Coffee there was never any concern about taste or consistency – everything tasted great! Today Blue Bottle operates as a standalone company with stores throughout California, Oregon, Nevada and Arizona.)
