The tournaments grew into what is now known as the "Marina Open" Golf Tournament. The tournament has been held annually since then and has attracted some of world's best players. Today, there are several different events that take place at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort each year which celebrate shotgun shooting activity in Bay Area communities around Northern California. These include the "Bandon Dunes Memorial Cup," which is an annual cupcake shootout competition for shotguns; and "Marina Open", which celebrates local shotgun enthusiasts from throughout Northern California coming together to shoot matches and compete for prizes. Each year also features a variety of clinics/tournaments for new or experienced shooters as well as pre-release/launch parties for new products from various manufacturers aimed at those who love shooting handguns or rifles.

The gifts that shooters have given to one another over the years vary in what they are, but all of them have been some form of tool or accessory. Some may be small and personal, others may be more significant andpackets with a variety of different items.
In 1849, when the first Russian settlers arrived in San Francisco Bay, they named their new town Marina after the Russian ship Moskva. The name stuck and today Marina is a thriving city with a rich history. The first Russians to arrive in San Francisco Bay were led by Captain Dmitry Bogdanovich on a whaling vessel called Moskva. In 1848, he and his crew set out from Alaska, bound for California. They reachedshore on July 25 of that year and made their way up the coast of Northern California. They spent two months exploring the area before setting off northeast to what is now Marin County. Captain Bogdanovich's party soon ran into trouble while sailing through stormy waters near Half Moon Bay. One of Bogdanovich's men was killed and four others were injured during the ordeal. The captain nonetheless continued on his journey, reaching Stockton on September 21st of that year. He then proceeded north to Mission Peak where he erected a flagpole to show his presence in this new land. Bogdanovich’s group had found an opening up the coast due to increased shipping activity at that time as well as better news coming back from Russia about successful whale hunting expedition off North America’s East Coast which had yielded such valuable treasures as cannons, swords and other items (see here for more information). Consequently, many people followed Captain Bogdanovich into California - among them some of Moscow’s best-educated citizens who had emigrated there specifically for this purpose (see here). A few weeks later, on October 10th 1848, another group of Russians landed at Point Reyes Station on Mendocino Island in southern Marin County carrying baskets filled with food supplies they had acquired along their voyage westward. These early arrivals helped lead to what would become known as “the Missions Period” in California – when wealthy Californians came ashore seeking religious instruction from Native Americans living along the coast (see here). This period saw an influx of Russians not only becauseof their wealth but also because many individuals believed it was God's will for them to enter this newly discovered land (see here). This initial group included three priests: Father Dostoevsky (1786-1864), Father Joachim Becherer (1814-1887) and Father Alexis de Villefort(1792-1857). Soon afterwards additional priests arrived including Fathers John Fenton(1785-1868) and Gabriel Moraga(1799-1865) From these missionaries grew a large population of Russian Catholics who labored vigorously in developing San Francisco Bay Area economy starting with creating small boats used for fishing trips down river until becoming involved in growing crops or building mansions around Leland Stanford Jr.'s original mission property near Point Reyes Station beginning with Trinity Church built circa 1850 using funds provided byRussian millionaire Nicholas Warburg ). Startled locals at first thought these ecclesiastical personnel were strange tricksters conducting secret ceremoniesrequiring candlelight services amid thunderstorms etc...came soon discover that these gentlemen did not have any occult powers whatsoever! After successfully concluding several Chinese labor disputes over contraband goods transported inland by those same boats during late 1849 - early 1850 local merchants began calling these "Rodeo Days"
Marina was founded in 1887 by a group of Italian immigrants who had come to California seeking new opportunities.
