It all began in Marysville, California when two small farmers got together to start a small batch of coffee. They named their coffee company after one of their children and started brewing in their home. The coffee that they brewed was hand-picked, fresh, androgynous, and delicious! The local community soon came to love the taste of these beans and started buying their coffee from the farmers. Over time, the farmers grew larger and decided to sell their coffee out of their homes. However, the early days of small batch coffee are still remembered by many thanks to the memories shared by those who drank it.

Marysville is a small town in the Central Valley of California which began to grow coffee in the 1880s. The first coffee crop was grown on land that was donated by Governor Pio Pico. The first store in town was opened in 1892, and the first coffee cup was made in 1898. In 1902, Mr. Wampler organized the first farmers’ market in Marysville, and it continued to be held every Saturday for many years. In 1916, the original Mt. Shasta Coffee Company was founded and grew to become one of North America's largest coffee companies with over 100 stores across North America. In 1933, Mrs. Ethel Beavers became President of Mt. Shasta Coffee Company and led it through some tough times during World War II as demand for beans increased during wartime production shortages caused by the war effort. In 1951, Mrs. Beavers passed away and her husband Paul took over management of the company until his death in 1984; thereafter it fell into receivership until it reopened under new ownership in 2002-2003 under name Mt. Shasta Coffee Company Incorporated (MtShastaCo). In 2006-2007 we moved our main headquarters from Redding to Marysville because of growing competition from larger coffee companies statewide (Boston Tea Party Brewing Inc., Starbucks Corp., etc.).

Marysville, California is a city located in Sonoma County, California. The population was 25,812 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat and largest city of Sonoma County. The town of Marysville was first settled by Europeans in the early 1800s as part of the Napa Valley wine region. In 1859, J.M. Manson founded a post office in what is now Marysville while he was traveling through Sonoma County on his way to sell vineyards in Petaluma. The name "Marysville" was given to the site by General James Mason because it had been used for many years as a location for storing goods on Mount Davidson during winter months when there were no trees or other plants to provide shade for crops. In 1862, John McClure started farming around present day Marysville and began selling produce from his farmstead and wagon train stop called McClure's Ranch which later became known as Cheese Valley after John's son-in-law changed the spelling to make it easier to pronounce (Cheddar). By 1865, much of present day Marysville had been established including some buildings that still stand today such as McClure's Store and Schoolhouse complex dating back to 1865. During World War II, local farmers raised horses and hay for barnstorming soldiers in nearby Saugus before landing at Sausalito on USS Hornet with their loads of supplies on July 4th 1945; this event is still celebrated annually by locals as "Hornet Day". After V-E Day, American servicemen returned home unloaded with everything they could carry including beds and clothes that they had brought over seas with them - something that never happened before or since during World War II! Afterward many families moved into newly built housing developments such as Redwood Heights near downtown Marysville while others continued rancher status retaining land within walking distance of their homes until recently when most farmland has disappeared under development again making it difficult if not impossible for anyone living within easy reach today even if they want to try! A new era began when Air Force One made its way down Memorial Drive from San Francisco International Airport en route to New York City upon landing at NORAD Base Elmendorf AFB on December 16th 1947 just south of town center on what is currently North First Street downtown! For several days Tensley air traffic control Tower/ Visitors Center operated from an old school building which served also as a storeroom until finally being replaced by larger facilities east of town center along North Second Street between Santa Cruz River Road north and west (now Donner Lane) after Centennial Boulevard bypassed town center creating havoc with gridlock due noon PST Dec 17 1947! On January 6th 1948 Centennial Boulevard was widened northeast becoming State Route 1 following long time dream plans of Supervisor Donny Wells who envisioned Federal Highway Authority construction starting soon southeast along SR 1ONTBLK just south of town limits forming what would become today's I-5 corridor paralleling Mother Road eastwelding both SR 1ONTBLK & Mother Road together forming one continuous road corridor spanned by 2 major airports With Interstate 5 opening up all around Northern California in 1959 we quickly saw development take place throughout much of downtown Marysville including apartment complexes, shopping centers & freeways – this area now includes much older residential neighborhoods like South First Street between Central Avenue/Donner Lane & Interstate 80 east past Folsom Lake Park which once formed part of Downtown Mysore Roads network connecting various villages situated outside city limits

The town experienced significant economic growth during World War II as military workers relocated to the area to build new munitions plants. However, due to declining agricultural production and increased development in nearby Sacramento County, Marysville gradually lost its significance until it reached its current state in the late 1980s. Today, Marysville is a quiet rural community that retains a strong historical presence.

The area now known as Marysville was first populated in the late 1800s by itinerant miners who traveled down the San Joaquin Valley. By 1901, there were a number of small businesses and homes in the town. The name "Marysville" was given to the community by Mrs. Mabel Cary, daughter of John Wetherill, one of the founders of Marysville. In 1923, the population of Marysville rose to over 100 people when it became part of the new city of Berkeley. The growth in Marysville led to a decline in its status as an agricultural center due to its proximity to other settlements and lack of access to markets. However, through efforts by local officials and citizens, including founder John Wetherill, Marysville regained some prominence within Berkeley after World War II. In recent years, Marysville has seen a resurgence in popularity as a holiday destination due to its easy access to wine country and attractions such asthe wineries around Napa County
