Menlo Park is a city in San Mateo County, California, United States. The population was 46,554 at the 2010 census. In 1860 when American Civil War began Menlo Park Hawk’s nest served as military hospital until 1865 when Battle Creek Barracks were established nearby to provide shelter for Union soldiers retreating from Santa Clara Valley battlefields including Palo Alto and Mountain View On May 10th 1861 “Menlo park be burned” but due to lack of volunteers no damage occurred; Unfortunately this event led to more animosity towards Mission San Francisco de Asís among some residents which continues up through present day hostilities between these groups In 1863 John Drysdale moved his family from NJ back east where he had been born two years earlier to start what would become known as Drysdale Associates which included several mills located along the Delaware River in Newark before moving westward into Stanwood Township along with other men such as George Stephenson organize what would become known as Stanford University In 1886 Timothy Leary met Chanute Agricultural Experiment Station director David Starr Jordan while working at nearby Masonic Temple near Stanford University His experiments there helped lead him into psychedelics research later that same year
