This store became one of the most popular gun stores in Modesto due to its wide selection of handguns along with its knowledgeable staff who could help customers find what they were looking for. Modesto, California is a city in Northern California and the seat of Contra Costa County. The population was 66,627 at the 2010 census. It is located on the north shore of Lake Merritt and has a rich agricultural history. In 1876, Modesto became the first city in California to adopt a municipal form of government. Modesto's history can be traced back to 1851 when adobe huts were built by settlers for themselves on what is now the eastern edge of town. The first post office was established in 1857 and took its name from Dr. Wm. H Miller, who served as physician to the original gold rush settlers in that area.
