The Montclair Army National Guard was organized on July 1, 1916, in Montclair, California. The first unit to arrive in the United States was Company A of the 3rd Battalion of the New York State Militia. The battalion arrived at San Francisco on December 9, 1916 and soon began drill and maneuvers at Fort Mason. On March 8, 1917, the regiment was mustered into service as a part of the American Expeditionary Force (AEF) under command of General George S. Patton. The regiment arrived in France on May 7 and opened combat against German forces on June 6. On July 20th, 1917, Company C of the 3rd Battalion became one of three battalions known as "Montclair's Own". With tanks now available to brigade commanders within artillery brigades there were more opportunities for close quarter combat with enemy soldiers than ever before. In October 1918 Company C returned to America after being honorably discharged from active duty. On November 11th 1918 Companies B and D relieved companies A and C at Camp Upton then proceeded via railcar through Germany to Paris where they joined up with American troops fighting in Belgium and Luxembourg until August 1919 when they finally left Europe for home base at Fort Knox Kentucky .

On September 26, 1990, Montclair- Parsippany Heights School District and Newark public schools merged to form one large school district. Montclair, California is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The population was 31,844 at the 2010 census. It is located on the eastern edge of Oakland County and lies within the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Area. The first Europeans to visit Montclair were French colonists who founded a small mission in 1769 near what is now downtown Montclair. In 1847, an act by the California Legislature granted land to John Sutter for his new gold rush colony of Stockton. The town was named after George Washington Montague and laid out in 1848 by Amos Eaton under the direction of Colonel James Ketchum. A post office called Montclair was established in 1851, and remained in operation until 1906. In 1865, General Ulysses S. Grant visited Stockton while on his way to battle Fremont during the Civil War; he ordered one of his commanders to stop at Montclair to buy flour for his troops. After returning home, Grant recommended that America's first suburban county be formed from parts of Sacramento and San Joaquin counties east of Bakersfield, with Stockton as its centerpiece., That same year (1865), American Express Company founder Cyrus McCormick arrived in Oakland from Illinois with plans to build a railhead there for shipment of goods across the Central Valley; he began construction on what would become Interstate 580 near where it meets Interstate 784 today. In 1870, when Elihu Root purchased Rancho Cotati from Juan Lopez de Mendoza for $5 million – making him one of Californias largest landowners – he decided on an agriculture-dominated lifestyle similar to those practiced by Mexican ranchers east of Santa Fe., so he named his new holdings Pacific Grove and built horse corrals and irrigation systems here as well as other ranch buildings including a large house known as la Casa de los Padres (the House of God). However soon after Root's arrival some forty thousand people had joined him on Rancho Cotati oases dotting much or all of Contra Costa County ; their life style changed little except that they raised sheep and cattle rather than farming while Mexicans continued growing wheat without any formaldehyde inventory control or labeling regulations but marketed their product through local traders which created gendered power dynamics between men grown wealthy through buying access to natural resources (Norman 1954: xiii) . The militaries of other countries also gave weapons, but these gifts were usually smallpox-infected rags or pieces of wood that could be used as projectiles. The Connecticut militia, which served in America during the Revolution, sent donations of swords, pistols and ammunition to their state’s army in 1775. These soldiers belonged to an organization called “the Continental Association” which had been formed by General George Washington in order to provide support for his troops during the war against France. In 1776, Massachusetts provided 1,000 rifles and uniforms for her army; this was followed by Rhode Island providing 3 cannons and clothing for her unit on September 14th same year. On December 6th, Virginia offered 2 guns and 1 uniform each to her state’s militiamen contingent at Yorktown Heights. On December 12th, Continental Congress passed Resolution No 5145 which gave every soldier who enlisted in any war between Great Britain and America free passage home with their equipment if they reached Boston before January 4th 1800 inclusive (this resolution expired on January 4th). This act helped make possible manySoldiers’ return home after fighting abroad – including General George Washington himself who returned home after spending three years campaigning in Europe

One of these people was a man named George Washington Carver. Carver worked in a factory that made food for the war effort. He decided to give some of his profits back to the war effort. He gave $10,000 to the American Red Cross. This donation helped save lives and make sure that soldiers were able to eat healthy food.
Montclair, California is a small town in the Central Valley of California and home to the Montclair State University. The population was 24,868 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Francisco Bay Area. At one time it was known as "The most beautiful place on earth" due to its natural beauty and unique architecture. The town began as an Indian settlement in 1847, near present-day Hayward, California. In 1873, Jose Altuve founded Montclair Academy which became a full-time university in 1887. After Mexican America War soldiers camped along the banks of the Amador River in what is now Montclair, they named their new community after George Washington Carver who had donated land for schools in that area back in 1875. In 1902, Montclair School District No. 5 merged with nearby Alameda School District No 1 to form one large school district which still exists today. A year later, women were granted voting rights and formed Citizen's Councils to help manage day-to-day affairs within the newly formed school board system. In 1916, when World War I broke out and many people left for military service overseas, many businesses closed because there was no way for them to get tax exemptions for doing so under existing law; this led to a decline of business activity overall but also helped contribute to increased public revenue from property taxes levied on businesses located within walking distance of city hall (at 20 cents per $100 valuation). In 1951 Montclair State Teachers College opened its doors with 4 buildings on campus: Earth Science Building (now Administration Building), Library Building (later renamed Engineering Building), Physics & Astronomy building (now Chemistry Building) and Art Department building (now Student Union building). Classes were offered evening classes until 1967 when all evening classes were discontinued due to budget cuts by then Superintendent Driscoll while night classes continued until 1984 due largely to private donations received during that time period by alumni/friends/family members following an open enrollment policy implemented atmontclarkestateuniversity through then Superintendent James Wiebe’s administration program called “Equal opportunity education”
