Moreno Valley is a town in Inyo County, California, United States. The population was 5,580 at the 2010 census. Moreno Valley is located on the eastern edge of Inyo National Forest and includes the towns of Bear Valley and Umpqua. The first Europeans to explore what is now Moreno Valley were Jedediah Smith and his party in 1814, when they traveled from New Mexico down the Mono River valley to Mono Lake. They named it after José Moreno who had accompanied them on this trip. Spanish traders and settlers also visited the area during this time. A post office was established at Bear Valley in 1868, but it was discontinued due to lack of mail service between these two towns. Umpqua was incorporated as a town in 1902. Moreno Valley experienced some growth during World War II becauseberger Aircraft Manufacturing Company built many aircraft plants there including an airfield known as "Bear Valley Army Airfield". However, most of these factories closed after the war ended; one exception being Anschutz Corporation which continued manufacturing antennas until 1978). In 2002, 9% of all housing units in Inyo County were owner-occupied apartments or condos owned by individuals over 40 years old; more than any other county in California (and more than any other county in America). This high percentage has been attributed to strong job growth within the local economy – especially within healthcare and information technology – due to new medical technologies such as anesthesia and virtual reality that have made treatment cheaper and more comfortable for patients aroundthe world.

Moreno Valley is a small town located in Inyo County, California. The population was 1,639 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Sierra Vieja metropolitan area. Moreno Valley is named for Antonio Moreno, an early settler who platted the community on June 3, 1887. The name originated from the Monterey Bay region where it was thought that Moreno's family had come from. In 1850, Rancho San Luis Rey de Francia was granted to José Castro and his wife María del Carmen Mora by Governor Manuel Nieto. Mexican land grants were often given to particular families or groups of settlers in order to promote their drive eastward into what is now California. Rancho San Luis Rey de Francia became part of US viceroyalty of New Mexico following its creation in 1846 as part of the Mexican-American War Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. On November 14, 1851, President James Kapp assigned Rancho San Luis Rey de Francia to Juan Bautista Alvarado for homesteading purposes with a grant of five square miles (12 km²). The first Anglo settler in Moreno Valley was George Ahern who arrived in October 1889 after traveling through Mono Lake and upriver from Sacramento via White Pass and Yukon River crossings on his way southward pioneer style wagon train called "The Big Trail." He built a adobe cabin near present day Highway 395 and started trading goods with local Native Americans north of Inspiration Point on Mono Lake before moving downriver to offer hunting trips which resulted in some sow teams being worth millions today when measured against annual production values like haystacks and cattle drives taken today along those same trails during this time period! Ahern's son John Ahern moved to Moreno Valley circa 1895 and founded the first store there that still stands today - J & J Hardware Ltd.. John Ahern also ran one or more other stores until 1902 when he sold out to Willard Sarton who organized what would become The Sarton Company - one of Southern California's earliest commercial businesses! Sarton also did some building himself including a new church built on Main Street between 1907-1909 which remains standing today as well as many other notable structures throughouttown including City Hall (1899), High School (1916), Town Hall Annex (1957) - all now property within the city limits boundaries of downtown Torrance! In 1912 they increased production by growing pineschimps under enclosures utilizing selective breeding techniques then shipping them off live worldwide! Today you can still find these animals being raised inside purpose-built cages/enclosures just outside town limits near Interstate 5 arterial Exit 118B! By 1916 they were producing over 100 metric tons/year but due primarily to world wars I could go onto list several others stocks exported here such as oranges etc... so please feel free not too write about this topic further if you don't want me writing about your momma & dad's favorite place to shop back then...) It wasn't until World War II that things really STARTed going bad for Moreno Valley because Hollywood began filming movies here beginning with "Dirty Dozen" starring Ronald Reagan in 1951 followed by "The Godfather" (#2 spot domestically wire-to-wire box office behind only Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone) #1 internationally both commercially AND critically acclaimed!!! But much like most places during wartime there were shortagesof everything so war produced rationing which led directly into World War III starting WW2 while our elected officials sat back doing nothing...and we lost Angeles National Forest TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!! So yeah pretty much anything good that happened during those years leading up t0 WWII kinda got cancelled out because man eh? Anyway us ol' geezers moved back home around 1945 so all these new people came over trying t get their business BACK ON TRACK!! BY 1949 ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE OPERATIONS WERE IN LOS ANGELES SO BIG TIME MOVIES LIKE 'THE GODFATHER', 'WILBUR WILSON', 'CHINESE COWBOYS', 'PANTHER NATION' etc... STOPKIN ALL THAT SMASHING ACTUAL WORLD WAR II IMPORTANCE!!!!! yup same drill folks!! So whatcha think I spent my whole life doing JUST STANDING HERE WAITING FOR MY Ration Cards??? WRONG GUYS!!!!
