Newman Coffee has a rich history that goes back to 1199 when Johannes Gutenberg created the first movable type printing press in Germany. The company was started by four brothers who named themselves Newman, Miller, Hecker and Schwarzschild. In 1934, they merged with another coffee house chain, The Rialto Cafeteria Company. This gave Newman Coffee its name – The Rialto Company’s specialty was Italian roast coffee. In 1957, The Rialto Company merged with American Trust & Savings Bank which made Newman one of America’s largest banks. In 1969, Newman Coffee became an NRG Corporation subsidiary and began producing drip coffees under the name “Nova Roasts”. From then on, all of their products were branded as NRG Coffees! Over time though, many different friends and family members joined forces at NRG Corporation so that each individual had their own little corner of the warehouse where they roasted their beans! By 1997 however, all operations were centralized within NRG Corporation’s Anaheim headquarters so that everything could be run more efficiently! Newman, California is home to a number of coffee businesses dating back to the 1800s. Some of the earliest coffeehouses in Newman were The Three Fishes and The Anchor, both founded in 1825. In 1851, The Newman Coffee House was opened by John Newman and his wife Lucretia. From then until 1916, the Newman Coffee House operated as one of the first commercial breweries in California. In 1915, The Newman Coffee House became part of the newly formed City Brewery chain and continued operations as such until 1926 when it merged with Victor Brewing Company. After that point, The Newman Coffee House ceased operations completely. Today there are a few remaining remnant remnants of what once was The Newman Coffee House including its original building which is now used as office space; and a small piece of wall inside the main entrance which still displays an image from whenthe house served as a brewery.
Newman is a small town in the California Central Valley, located about 130 miles south of Sacramento. The population was 5,815 at the 2010 census. Newman's ZIP code is 95609. Newman was founded by farmers in 1853 as a simple log cabin community known as Indianola. It became a small town only after they laid out a street grid and built schools and churches. In 1926, when California became an state, Newman voted to join the Union and its residents were among the first to be taxed. Today, Newman's economy depends on agriculture, construction, tourism and other service businesses. The first post office in Newman opened on November 1, 1853. The name may have been inspired by Mission San Fernando Rey de los Reyes (or "St Francis of Assisi"), which was located near present-day Dixon City in Contra Costa County but not yet incorporated into Newman as part of that county's early history. In 1870, two years after incorporation into Contra Costa County proper, the new townsite of Indianola was selected for what would become downtown Newman today – then consisting of just a few homes and three stores – due to its location between two major water supplies: San Francisco Creek to the south and Dixon Creek to the north. The town’s growth continued apace through this period with several more stores being erected along North Main Street before it reached its current form in 1888 when it annexed adjacent communities of Redding and Porterville east of I-580 (the old route). One significant event that occurred during this time period came about when Newman’s bellowing waterfall called “The falls” began tourists coming over from nearby San Francisco for some beautiful natural scenery while also providing employment for local farmers who raised livestock beneath one of America’s most impressive waterfalls (now closed off to visitors). This hike/bike ride can still be enjoyed today starting from Highway 36 near milepost 16 ½ outside of town limits where you will reach an unsigned marking directing motorists towards an open gate leading down into the ravine; upon entering you will immediately enter another bike trailhead descending steeply until reaching a saddle below which lies “The falls” itself hidden amidst large boulders! From here access can be made via either easy or hard climbs up or down following numerous switchbacks making use of handrails if necessary until reaching deep pools under cover from views obstructed by intervening rocks! After emerging again onto level ground beyond picnic areas situated around both main tourist attractions which include interesting rock artifacts dating back over 10 thousand years including items found associated with Native Americans), continue your journey westbound following signsposted bike paths all the way back home!

Newman, California is located in the Central Valley of California and has been inhabited since the early Cretaceous period. The area now known as Newman was part of what is today Tulare County before it was organized into a new county in 1879. The first post office in Newman opened on July 21, 1881, and the first settler in what is now Newman was J.M. White. The name "Newman" comes from a rancho that Spanish traders discovered in1836 while they were exploring southern Tulare County. They called the place San Joaquin de las Animas and named one of their horses San Bernardino because he had caught his horse by chance at an abandoned mine near where san Bernardino Creek flows today. In 1847, Mexico ceded control of this region to United States due to the Mexican-American War and American settlement began rapidly. By 1870, there were over 1,000 people living in Newman. A store built on Main Street soon became the nucleus of what would become a community fabric with close relationships between residents and farmers who supplied them with food and goods necessary for their subsistence including clothmaking, farming, and blacksmithing services The opening of Yosemite National Park increased demand for goods produced by local farmers so much that prices plummeted which led to many farms closing up shop during this time period as well as loss of jobs for locals not only during but after World War II when production collapsed due to war efforts shortages elsewhere But things changed rapidly after World War II when prices stabilized around 1945-46 thanks largely to increases brought about by federal highway projects . Newmans population leapt back up over 40% from its prewar level once these projects were completed Today, Newman boasts one of most vibrant communities within its boundaries with many businesses thriving thanks to its large agricultural sector along with heavy industry such as manufacturing plants situated nearby or just outside town limits
