We donate our time and money both online and off-line towards many different causes such as education reform, environmental awareness, social justice work, relief efforts after natural disasters (including Harvey), AIDS relief/promoting healthy living options among underserved populations, veterans outreach programs (including substance abuse counseling), cancer research & treatment initiatives (the latest being using genetic sequencing technology to fight lung cancer), food safety initiatives (cooperating with state Agriculture Departments on inspections of commercial food retailers) – you name it! This year alone we have donated over $21 million towards good Causes! It takes a lot from all within The National Guardsmen units combined to make these donations happen but we truly believe this is what makes us special: our love for serving our country AND making a difference in other areas!
