In 1865 Drury Lane was developed as a shopping center by Nathan Myrick with support from banker J P Morgan; this development increased garage sales around town which led to more people coming to town to buy goods they couldn't find anywhere else! In 1893–1895 additional housing was added along Santa Barbara Blvd., making it into what is now known as South Oxnard. This subdivision began being developed by Pacific Gas & Electric Company employees when they decided they wanted more than just a single street address – they wanted all the land between Camarillo Boulevard and Santa Barbara Blvd., plus parts of North and South Beach Boulevards! During World War II there were over 1 million military personnel stationed in Southern California across sixteen different camps or barracks; many families lived right next door inoxnard during these times!
