Oxnard, California is a city in Southern California on the Pacific coast. The population was estimated to be 66,821 as of 2019, making it the second most populous city in the state of California after Los Angeles. It is located about 30 miles (48 km) north of downtown Los Angeles and about 25 miles (40 km) south of Ventura County. The city has a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and hot summers.
