These Italians were looking for an opportunity to start their own business and found that growing coffee didn't exist at the time they landed in America. They started small, selling their coffee direct to local merchants and farmers. It wasn't until 1926 when they opened their first shop in San Francisco's Financial District. At this point, maga coffee had reached its peak popularity in North America and began being exported to other countries such as Europe and Asia! In recent years, interest in maga coffee has continued to grow around the world due to its unique flavor profile and sustainability features. In 2016, we received recognition from both our peers and consumers alike when we were awarded Best Bean at the Great American Coffee Awards (GACA). The first maga coffee was roasted in Pacifica, California on October 20, 1896. The beans were brought over from Mexico by José Gomez and packaged in small sacks. It was not until 1899 that the first moka pot was invented, which allowed for a greater variety of flavors to be enjoyed with the coffee. Maga coffee continued to grow in popularity throughout the late 1800s and into the 1900s. In 1906, an Italian-born entrepreneur named Giovanni Tassi opened The Italian Coffee House in Pacifica and began serving maga coffee as well as other Italian foods. Later that year, he also started selling a machine that could make espresso shots. In 1912, an American businessman named Harry Robson founded The Robson Coffee Company in Pacifica and began selling maga coffee from his shop. From then until World War II, The Robson Coffee Company served as one of the most significant sources of maga coffee worldwide. During World War II, many soldiers stationed at Camp Pendleton drankmagacoffee to help them relax and provide energy during their long days at sea or battlefields. This tradition continued after the war ended and continues to this day as part of the pacifican military community’s culture
Pacifica is a census-designated place (CDP) in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 382 at the 2010 census. It is located on the border of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties and includes the communities of Apple Valley, Crestline, El Cajon, Hacienda Heights, Jurupa Hills, La Habra Hills, Monrovia and Rancho Mirage. The name "Pacifica" comes from Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo's 1609 voyage that passed through this area; it is thought he named the area after his own home country Puerto Rico. Pacifica was incorporated as a city in 1912. The first post office at Pacifica opened in 1896. In 1923 Pacifica became one of nine townships in Riverside County to be merged into what would become Riverside City; its citizens voted to keep their town name but adopt the city motto "From Rice to roses." In 1925 city officials changed the name of the city to honor John F Kennedy when he was elected President of America. In 1959 Pacifica voters approved an initiative to create a public university system within the city limits which would be known as "John F Kennedy University". The school never materialized but has been mentioned as a possibility for future development by both local officials and developers over time. After years of discussion between various entities interested in developing or purchasing portions of what had once been called "Puerto Rico" - including two failed attempts by mayors of Los Angeles County to annex part of nearby Agoura Hills - residents voted on April 24th 2006 in favor of creating a new CDP for all those living within its borders: Pacific Beach/Eastshore (including portions now included within Rancho Mirage). The vote came about due largely to concerns about some parcels currently zoned residential being used for commercial or other single-family dwellings with no plans yet available for apartment development therein; given that more than half the population resides within three blocks thereof I believe this represented an opportunity too good to resist!

He introduced this new coffee to Europe and North America, making it one of the most popular coffees around at the time. The first Italian espresso machine was designed by Giovanni Battista e Paolo in 1795. This machine made espresso using ground coffee which was boiled then mashed together with water or milk to make a soft drink like cappuccino or latte macchiato. The French press (first invented in 1795) is an ancient type of drinking vessel used for brewing coffee that presses hot water through a small hole on top into the grounds, resulting in a thick foam that blocks air flow and produces an elegant cup of joe. Coffee machines evolved over time to include more features and options, such as variable speedims (which allowed different strength levels of grinds), automatic timers, programming (for example, how much water or milk are added at different times), temperature control,newsprint filters (added to removeespresso bits after extraction), and multiple brew cycles

Pacifica (formerly known as KPFA) is a public radio station located in Berkeley, California. Pacifica was founded on February 17, 1949 by the then- owners of KPFA, including Phil Donahue and Bob Hunter. The station's original transmitter was located atop the University of California at Berkeley's Sproul tower. In the early days of FM broadcasting, Pacifica aired syndicated programs from CBS Radio. In 1958, KPFA began to carry its own morning show, "The World News Hour". The show wasproduced by Donahue and hosted by newsman Ted Koppel and economist Glen Campbell. In 1969, KPFA enacted a policy forbidding advertisers from sponsoring programmes that did not support progressive causes. Thispolicy has been honored ever since by Pacifica listeners who have turned out in droves for political protests against corporate sponsorship during live debates or other programming events sponsored by commercial sponsors. In October 1994, after years of effort led by then-president Bruce Ratner and WBAI president Herb Kleinfeldt, KPFA became an affiliate member of the National Public Radio network (NPR). At the same time, WPBF-FM (now WBUR) joined NPR as an affiliate in San Francisco; both stations were carrying 24/7 KHQR-FM's newscast when they first joined NPR. KPFA remained an independent broadcaster until 2000 when it merged with rival station KQED to form KOIN-TV (NBC).KOIN had been purchased earlier that year by former NBCUniversal television executive Barry Diller and his wife Lynne Alden Diller through their newly created ABC Broadcasting Company. Shortly thereafter KOIN adopted a progressive platform similar to that espoused by Pacifica Radio Corporation which remains one of the mainstays of KOIN today. From 1997 - 2001 Gordon Tokumatsu served as interim general manager for KOIN TV & Internet Departments before being named permanent manager upon Diller's death in 2002
Some of the earliest exploration and settlement in what is now Pacifica, California took place during the Gold Rush of 1848. A group of miners discovered gold near the town in 1851. The first post office was established in Pacifica on December 25, 1852. The town began to grow rapidly as a result of the influx of people and businesses who were looking for fortune in the new land. By 1865, Pacifica had a population of 1,000 residents. During World War II,Pacifica was used as a ammunition depot by the US military.
