Maga coffee was first harvestd at Paramount, California in 1877. After years of research and development, the first maga coffee beans were roasted and bottled by Adolphus maga Coffee Roasters in 1979. The company has grown to be one of the largest roasters in the country with a portfolio that includes some of the most famous brands such as Starbucks, Peet's Coffee, and Dunkin' Donuts. Maga coffee is a blend of two different types of Arabica beans- an Ethiopian Bekasi and a Guatemalan Arbusto. The origins of maga coffee date back to 1877 when Afrikaans traders passed through California on their way between Africa and Asia. They brought with them goods from Ethiopia including ground coffee, tea, cocoa powder, sugarcane, foodstuffs, and other spices. In 1877 Captain John Sutter founded the city of San Francisco on Misawa Creek near what is now Paramount County in north-central California. He undertook a massive land acquisition campaign which included purchasing over 6500 acres (2 km²) around present day Paramount City for $1 per acre (0.50 ha). This area would eventually become known as Star Valley because it was used for growing crops such as grapes and olives while also providing pastureland for livestock. Captain Sutter believed that caffeine could be extracted from Java Beans which he had imported from India during his earlier trip there in 1853! He began marketing his new product under the name "Maga Coffee" or "Java Bean Coffee." By 1870 Captain Sutter's company had purchased 5 square miles (10 km²) adjacent to today's downtown Paramount City comprising part of what is now known as Star Valley Ranch State Game Reserve #2B where he grew fruit trees primarily for food but also yielded some valuable pounds (ounces) of maga beans each year yielding an estimated 25% yield or 2 kilograms/acre or 0.75 lb/ha or 12 ounces/kg or 1 lb/lb daily! By 1880 Captain Sutter's company had built 4 large warehouses located along 3 streets within walking distance of each other on lots measuring 130 feet × 70 feet × 30 feet with capacity for storing up to 6000 sacks per week (48 boxes/meter = 10 ft× 10 ft× 8 in). These warehouses remain extant to this day at 4 locations in downtown Paramount City: At 15th Street & Hwy 101 North; At 15th Street & Broadway South; At 16th Street & Just North Of The Post Office; And On Park Avenue just east side Of Hwy 101 From I-5 To The Town Center Between Broadway & Spring Streets In 1886 Captain John Sutter sold his interest in Star Valley Ranch State Game Reserve #2B to Captured Air Force Squadron No 11 led by Colonel Edward Ewing who transferred ownership title to George Ayer Abrahams alias GAA&H Co., Ltd.. Abrahams renamed his business GAA&H Co., Ltd.. after American Tobacco Company founder John Pemberton Gee whose initials are JPG who was also active involved with Captured Air Force Squadron No 11 commanded by Colonel Ewing including production work on cigarettes destined for America markets As part of its efforts towards being able to compete with American Tobacco Company - GAA&HCo., Ltd.. developed methods for harsh fire brewing whereby they would roast their beans using very little water giving rise to an intense flavor profile unlike any other bean found elsewhere at that time . They did this so that they could produce high quality coffees even when exposedto difficult environmental conditions such as extreme heat or drought . Paramount is a city in Butte County, California, United States. The population was 31,569 at the 2010 census. It is the southernmost city in California and the county seat of Butte County. The city was founded by Captain John Sutter on November 10, 1849 as a trading post along the Feather River. It became part of California in 1850 and soon developed into an important railway center. Paramount was named after Captain John Sutter's home town of Pembroke in England where he had been born just over one year earlier on October 26, 1847. In 1907 Paramount became home to the first motion picture studio in Hollywood when movie pioneer Captains James Worthy and others built their studios on Vine Street east of downtown; these were followed by other major studios until Universal Pictures closed its doors in 1930. The original film industry served as a base for later filmmakers including Steven Spielberg who grew up nearby at then-MGM Studios; today's Regal Cinemas are located within walking distance of Paramount's old campus. Other large modern entertainment complexes located adjacent to or near Paramount include Regal ARENA Stadium (the largest theater complex west of San Francisco), Fox Theatre (the largest theatre complex east of Los Angeles), Hansen Park (a $1 billion redevelopment project that includes an amusement park and office buildings), and State Fair Park (largest stadium hotel complex east of Los Angeles). Today the city is also home to two universities: University of Southern California - which operates USC Trojans football games at Memorial Coliseum - and University atridge - which operates UCLA Bruins athletics programs from Pauley Pavilion across from City Hall.
