In 1916, Juan Pablo Perez's son Archibald opened Archibald & Sons Coffee Shop on North Main Street in town. This shop would continue to be an important part of the local community until it was destroyed by fire in 1978. In 1922, Harry Jaffe bought out Perez’s interest in Los Olivos Café and began operating Jaffe’s Coffee House under license from his father-in-law Juan Pablo Perez. At this point, Harry Jaffe had started up a small but successful business selling espresso drinks and pastries from his home on Fourth Street north of Highway 95 junction near present day I-15 exit 72A/Rancho Mirage Boulevard (formerly SR 95A). By 1930, Harry Jaffe had moved his business two blocks east down Main Street into what is now known as Java Junction at I-15 Exit 72B/Rancho Mirage Boulevard/Aliso Viejo Parkway (formerly SR 95B). From Java Junction at I-15Exit 72B/Rancho Mirage Boulevard you can see across Palmdale Road to where Lake Arrowhead is today located just south west off Interstate 15 between US 101 and SR 95A; Harry Jaffe’s Coffee House still stands today looking like it did back then! In 1934 Waffle House Corporation purchased Harry Jaffe’s Coffeehouse which continued to operate until 1981 when it was sold to Dutch Bros./Greenwich Village Baking Company who operated it until 1984 when it was sold again to Dave Smith Tea Co./Redondo Beach CA which operates it still today! Finally during 1982–1984 Dutch Bros./Greenwich Village Baking Company leased space from Dave Smith Tea CO./Redondo Beach CA on former Dreamland amusement park property next door to PCH Southern California Racetrack inside Redondo Beach city limits; this property later became known as Eckerd Hall! In 1988 Rufus Anderson bought out Dutch Bros./Greenwich Village Baking Company and reopened their old facility at 620 East Imperial Avenue Suite 200 (now called “Cupresso Annexe II”) within city limits serving only Wadsworth Farms coffees since 1992!!! It should be noted that Cupresso Annexe II also house production facilities for Anacapa Mills Incorporated !!!Prior To 1992 Rufus Anderson ran Anacapa Mills Incorporated together with Holland Blanco Productions INC.) Also On 622 East Imperial Avenue Suite 200 formerly occupied by Cupresso Annexe II is another cafe known as “Anchor Cafe” which served only White Sands Coffees before its closure due to lackadaisical management by owners Rich & Denise Hecht prior thereto!!This building currently houses Auberge de la Costa Resort adjacent unto it !!

Rancho Mirage is a small town located in Riverside County, California, United States. The population was 3,681 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario Metropolitan Statistical Area. Rancho Mirage has a Mediterranean climate with hotsummer days and cool winter nights. The first permanent settler in Rancho Mirage was José Torres who arrived in 1851 from Mexico City. In 1862, Antonio Maria Armijo bought 640 acres of land for $8 per acre from José Torres. The Armijos ran a ranch until 1875 when they sold their holdings to George Pemberton Waddell and family who continued to run it as Waddells ranch until 1912 when it was acquired by Royce Leland Beaumont Jr. Beaumont cofounded Beaumont Oil and Gas Company on October 20, 1912 which became one of the largest oil companies in America. He also founded Beaumont Hotels Corporation with his brother Ellis Beaumont which operated over 160 hotels throughout North America before its merger into Ritz-Carlton Hotels Corporation in 1977. In 1955, Rancho Mirage incorporated as an unincorporated community under the name "Rancho Mirage". It changed its name to "Rancho Mirage" after incorporation when many residents objected to becoming part of a city that had only been established two years earlier. On November 7, 1968 local resident Dick Dietz organized a meeting at the nearby University Clubroom to discuss plans for proposed annexation of neighboring communities by Rancho Mirage proper; this proposal never materialized however annexation proposals did come from Ontario (now Moreno Valley) and Fontana (now Moorpark). On November 12th a resolution was passed asking that all other populated areas adjacent to Rancho Mirage be annexed as well; this resolution failed however annexations did occur from La Mirada (now Carson), Gardena (now Glendale), Westminster (now Thousand Oaks), Buena Park (today Redlands) and Azusa (later Yorba Linda). It should be noted that these annexations were not Approved by the Board of Supervisors but instead were carried out without their knowledge or consent through executive orders issued by then Supervisor Don Armstrong without any formal vote being taken within the governing body; this policy later came under fire due to what would later become known as “the Armstrong Plan” In 1970 Helene Schnitzer opened her own beauty salon in what is now known as Schnitzer's Steak House & Seafood restaurant located across from Walnut Creek High School on Casino Boulevard near I-10/UCLA Airport Exit #2B

He designed a machine that used ground coffee and hot water to produce espresso shots. Eventually, other inventors followed his lead and created their own variations on the traditional espresso machine. Some of these machines used small or hand-operated brewers while others employed larger, mechanized brewers. The first commercially available artisanal coffee machines were made by French manufacturer La Cappella in 1948. These devices utilized whole bean, not processed beans like those used today. The popularity ofartisanal coffee continued through the 1950s until it began to decline in the late 1960s as mass-produced commercial coffees began to gain in popularity. However, this trend reversed starting in the early 1970s as large-scale producer Keurig began producing high quality artisanal beans at an affordable price point for consumers everywhere throughout Europe and North America. Rancho Mirage was founded in 1885 by Hiram Reeves and his brother, George. The two were farmers who bought land east of Los Angeles. They named the ranch after their friend and business partner, Major General John Garceau, who had helped them purchase the property. In 1902, following World War I, Garceau sold the ranch to a group of investors led by Theodore Roosevelt. The group developed it into a luxury resort town that quickly became popular with Hollywood celebrities and other wealthy people. Theodore Roosevelt died in 1909, but his son Franklin D. Roosevelt continued to support Rancho Mirage until he left office in 1933. In 1938, Harry S Truman purchased the town from the Roosevelt family for $5 million dollars. Since then, Rancho Mirage has been home to a variety of high-profile personalities including Ulysses S. Grant and many US presidents since Truman took office.
