The first espresso machine was built in Rancho Mirage by Giovanni de Filippi in 1885. At that time, café culture was new and cafes were small businesses that served only espresso drinks. Café Mazzini began serving cappuccinos and lattes in 1912. In 1915, Luigi Benedetto Camporesi opened his own espresso business called La Bottega del Caffè Italiana at 975 S Las Vegas Boulevard. Camporesi was soon joined by Angelo Argentieri who operated Argentieri's Cafeteria from 1919 until his death in 1949. In 1951, Angelo Argentieri's son Dino Argentieri reopened La Bottega del Caffè Italiana with a new kitchen and changed its name to Italiaaffe Coffee & Pastries Ltd.. Italiaaffe became one of the largest coffee businesses in North America and served coffee from Seattle to Miami Beach. In 1966, Italiaaffe merged with American Coffee Corporation (AFC) which had originated as an importer of French press coffee from Italy. AFC served as both parent company and operator for Italiaaffe until 1987 when it merged with Roasters Guild International Incorporated (RGII). RGII became a wholly owned subsidiary of Nestle SA (Nestle) which then operate Ignacio Gomez's Cafe De Leon on State Street adjacent to Doheny State Park within Knowledge Networks Incorporation-owned Knowledge Network Properties LLC., founded by Ignacio Gomez (2006-present), owner/operator since 2006 Rancho Mirage also hosted the first Starbucks location outsideOf North America in 1993 inside Doheny State Park adjacent to Ignacio Gomez's Cafe De Leon on State Street within Knowledge Networks Incorporation-owned Knowledge Network Properties LLC.. In 2006,Ignacio Gomez bought out knowledge networksIncorporation for $1 billion making him sole owner/operator of Starbucks at Rancho Mirage

Rancho Mirage is a small city in Orange County, California. The population was 26,561 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The area that now makes up Rancho Mirage was first inhabited by the Tongva people and their descendants. In 1827, Don Miguel Cordero acquired 1,000 acres (4 km²) of land east of what is now downtown Los Angeles for $10 per acre ($2/ha). He named it Rancho Santa Margarita de las Flores y San Gabriel de la Puerta del Sol (Rancho Santa Margarita of Roses and Gate of Sun), after his Spanish godmother's maiden name. In 1892, George A. Smith purchased 375 acres (175 ha) north of Rancho Mirage from Don Miguel Cordero for $35 per acre ($2/ha). Smith renamed it "Rancho Mirage" after himself, his wife Lucy Herschel Smith, and their two children: Donald and Louise. Today, Rancho Mirage is one of citrus country's most popular tourist destinations with its rolling hills covered in orange groves and vineyards; its crystal-clear waters; and its many charming streets filled with antique stores or historical houses dating back to the 1800s. There are also several golf courses within easy driving distance - including the abandoned Rahway Golf Club in North Bergen Township off I-405 near Ontario Airport - as well as horseback riding opportunities on nearby Mount Desert Island National Park or exploring canyonlands such as Joshua Tree National Park on Highway 395 between Palm Springs and Banning outside Southern California. Fishing opportunities abound both from local stocked lakes along county roadsides or from more than 20 miles (32 km) offshore at Point Mugu Lake in Ventura County where largemouth bass can reach a weight up to 12 pounds (5 kg); but be warned: some areas are badly polluted with industrial runoff that can make swimming unadvisable without special gear or an water filter!

Coffee houses were where people met to drink or read literature. Some of the first cafes appeared in Paris in 1775 and Berlin in 1779. These cafes served as social places for city residents to meet and share news, views, and ideas with one another. During World War II, coffee was rationed due to its importance as a wartime commodity. However, after the war ended, coffee regained its popularity throughout Germany and other parts of Europe as a result of its unique flavor profile. Today, café culture is still very popular across Europe and continues to play an important role in developing different regions’ economies

On May 15, 1932, President Franklin D. Roosevelt addressed a joint session of Congress at the White House in which he proposed that parts of the Mojave be returned to public ownership as part of the New Deal. This action turned Rancho Mirage into an incorporated city and led to its current name: Rancho Mirage
