Additionally, there have been attempts at breeding new varieties of Arabica trees which have led tovarieties with higher fiber levels and lower bitterness than traditional Arabica strains

The first Roasted Coffee shop in Red Bluff, California was founded by the late Dr. Julius Sausage in 1980. The store enjoyed success until its closure in 1984. However, a new coffee shop called “Café de la Jolla” opened up and quickly became known for their fresh roasted beans and delicious java drinks. In 2007, Café de la Jolla closed their doors after more than 25 years of business. However, a new coffee shop called Café Roma reopened in 2009 and quickly gained notoriety for their delicious coffee drinks and large selection of international espresso products from all over the world.
Red Bluff is a small town in California. It is located on the banks of the Sacramento River, about an hour and a half from Sacramento. The population was 1,691 at the 2000 census. Red Bluff became a post-office after it was platted in 1851 by John Sutter. The first settlers in what would become Red Bluff were two families of Mormon missionaries who came overland from Salt Lake City in 1852 to preach to the local Native Americans. The first white settler was George Stephenson, who arrived around 1854. He built a cabin on the site of his present home and named it "Stephanie". Red Bluff became an early post office on December 12, 1851 when it was renamed "Redwall". In 1865, it changed its name to "Redwall Post Office" because mail service along the Sacramento River had been discontinued due to budget cuts by Congress. In 1868, Edmund Gillespie settled here with his wife and three children after leaving San Francisco for good. They founded Gillespie's Rancho Adobe which today remains one of the most important cattle ranches in California history. Gillespie also ran an adobe store that still stands outside of town today (now known as Gillespie's Pharmacy). The original town square included a hotel/motel called The Daisy which burned down in 1893; however, another hotel called The Cottage still stands today across from First Baptist Church (which replaced The Daisy). A flour mill opened up here around 1886 and continued operation until 1914; however, it closed completely due to World War I shortages of flour supplies in California. A sawmill started up here again around 1930 but stopped operations due to wear and tear from all those years of use; however, it reopened briefly in 1935 before closing again for good permanently that year. Today only some foundations remain from both mills dating backto 1886-1890 inclusive! The last resident left Red Bluff behind when they moved away during WWII for fear their homes might be taken away if Japan attacked America then Allied forces were victorious thereby ending World War II; however they never returned so there can be no final closure or later closure date associated with this mill-it just stopped operating permanently!

Red Bluff is a small town in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The population was 2,527 at the 2010 census. It lies on the eastern edge of San Francisco Bay and is east of Martinez. The first European to see Red Bluff was Giovanni da Verrazzano in 1529 when he explored part of what is now Contra Costa County and made drawings that helped lead to his naming the area for its red sandstone cliffs which look like the roofs of ships seen from a distance. He named it "Reedere" after one of his shipmates who accompanied him on his voyage from Venice to San Francisco. Red Bluff began as a post office called Reedere in 1857, and became Red Bluff Station Landing on October 17, 1861 when Ulysses S. Grant arrived there with American forces during the American Civil War. The landing was part of an effort by Commodore John D. Sloat to supply General George Bancroft's Army of Northern California during its campaign against the Central Pacific Railroad south of Sacramento. In 1897, Eastern Telegraph Company built a wire line from Redding through Red Bluff to Stockton and Fresno; this line later became known as the Santa Fe Railway's main line between Santa Fe City and Fresno. In 1905, Southern Pacific opened a branch from Redding through Red Bluffs Junction into Napa Valley; this branch became known as the Peninsula Line because it ran parallel to Interstate 10 along both sides of Highway 4 (Fresno-Redding). On May 16, 1912, Jens Nygaard established Nygaard Dairy near present day Green Valley Rd., just east of today's intersection with State Route 1A (Hwy 288) north/southbound only; early morning fog had prevented him from arriving at his destination until after 7am so he started driving around local farms until he found an open spot where he could build his barn - this location would become home for Nygaard Dairy until it closed down in 1984 due to arson attacks targeting their equipment). In 1914–15 Jens Nygaard founded another dairy farm about 1 mile northwest of Green Valley Road which would eventually become today's Benicia Cheese factory - Benicia products are still produced there today by Sonoma Creamery Limited Partnership.. Nygaard also founded Sierra Trading Post located near present day Midway St., northeast cornerof Midway St./Highway 128 & exit 21 off I-80 . This trading post operated from 1916-1972 including supplying goods such as meat and eggs directly to residents living within 500 miles radius..During World War II Packing House #2 located 3 miles WSW Of current day Middlefield Rd., served military personnel surrounding our basecamp before being abandoned by USAAF due North Korea invasion in 1950s .. Today you can find remnant evidence left by USAAF over period 1951-1953 inside former Packing House #2 site while access remains restricted.. After WWII ended new owner(National guard) reopened store fall 2001 serving local populace thru out CA & NV The town charter was granted on December 5th 1856 following efforts by Jedediah Smith who saw potential traffic benefits coming with increased trade coming into Alameda county due then recent gold discovery at Fillmore rapids above Livermore Falls but no other towns were proposed or developed nearby because people were afraid they would beat them up if they got too big."
