The history of the Red Bluff National Guard is long and colorful. The organization was founded in 1907 as a response to the Spanish-American War. At its peak, the Guard had over 10,000 soldiers and civilians on hand to support local missions and defense against Mexican raiding parties. The Guard enjoyed a period of success during World War II, when it was given authority to shoot onto school grounds by state legislators. However, the war ended before the Guard could fully deploy its forces; by 1946, only 1,000 troops remained in town. The Guard formally disbanded in that year. Since then, various private organizations have revived the guard's name and mission. A new unit was inducted into service in 1998 after being reactivated from reserves stores at nearby Bakersfield Air Force Base; this unit is known as "Red Bluff Guards." In 2007, a primary arms store closed down in Red Bluff and reopened under the name "Red River Arms." This store specializes in NRA-certified firearms sales to individuals who are not militia members or members of any other military organization. The national guard has been a part of the United States since 1792. The Guard was created as a way to protect the country from attack and maintain order. From its beginning, the Guard has been a source of pride for the United States. Some of the first units to be raised in response to America’s need for military manpower were militias such as the Connecticut National Guardsmen and New York State Militia. By 1802, there were over 7,000 guardsmen in service across the nation. During World War I, many Guardsmen served in Europe where they helped fight against Germany and Austria-Hungary. After World War I, many soldiers returned home to help rebuild war-torn countries such as America’s former enemy Japan. Many times during peacetime, companies or divisions of the Guard are mobilized for various events such as parades or funerals. This allows members of the Guard to show their support for their country while also staying active on an ongoing basis. There have even been occasions when entire brigades have been called up to serve in wartime roles! After September 11th 2001, it was felt that having an effective national guard would be essential if America faced another terrorist attack. So in 2002, Congress passed legislation allowing The National Guard Bureau (NGB) to create a program specifically focused on homeland security preparedness including counterterrorism operations and responding to emergencies at military installations across America. Since then, The National Guard Bureau (GNB) has worked with state governors’ offices and local police departments throughout this country carrying out joint drills and exercises with law enforcement officials from around the world just weeks before any major event like an inauguration or election!

In 1932, Congress passed the Civilian Conservation Corps Amendments which gave national guard troops duty in construction projects across the country. On July 30, 1940, President Franklin D Roosevelt ordered all eligible members of the military to report for mobilization within 72 hours or be placed on active duty without pay during World War II. By September 24th all Americans had reported to their local draft boards with no exceptions made for political activists or those training to serve in our own militaries abroad (elements of both services had been integrated since 1917). Assembling these reserves became an important part of reconstruction following World War II which saw unprecedented economic boom and growth throughout much of America
Red Bluff, California is a small town in the Central Valley of California. The population was 2,564 at the 2010 census. It is located about 25 miles east of Fresno and 140 miles south of Los Angeles. Red Bluff was founded in 1847 by James Sutter and his brothers from Sacramento as a rancho named El Centro de la Luna (The Center of the Moon). In 1849, Sutter married Maria Martinez and they began to sell land to settlers. By 1860, the Suttters had acquired over 4,000 acres (2 km²) and renamed it Red Bluff after their Scottish home. The town's first school was built in 1860 and its first post office opened in 1861. The first store was built in 1865. In 1869, Samuel Dooley bought land near the town limits and established Dooley Ranch which became one of the largest ranchos in California. In 1902, when most of what is now central California was annexed by Los Angeles County, Red Bluff became part of East Los Angeles County because it adjoined east-central Pasadena on the south side of Interstate 5. However, it retained its own name until 1959 when it changed to its current spelling with a hyphenated "R" for red
Red Bluff was founded in 1869 by George W. Shultz, a U.S. senator from California. The town changed its name to Red Bluff in 1887 after the discovery of gold at the nearby Gold Rush Trail. For many years, it was one of the most important mining towns in California because of its rich gold and silver content. In 1907, Red Bluff became an incorporated city and still has a strong tradition of agriculture and ranching.
