Don Bollinger followed suit two years later and started production at his own business, Bollinger Coffee & Tea Co., which still operates today. At first, Don Bollinger relied on local farming methods to produce his beans - but he soon discovered that using premium Arabica beans from Africa gave him better results than anything else he could find nearby. This led him to develop an even more intense flavor profile for his espresso drinks - which became known as "Bollingerismo." The popularity of artisan coffee gradually grew throughout North America over the years. In 1990, Starbucks Corporation announced plans to open its first location in Redding - which helped fuel interest in this unusual beverage throughout the region! Over time, other major retailers like Nordstrom Rack and Saks Fifth Avenue have followed suit - making craftsmanship a widely accepted norm within our industry!

In 2003, Starbucks purchase Sumatra Holdings Company which produced Indonesia's first commercially available percolated Java coffee beans from farmers in Nusa Tenggara province near Bali island with an average elevation of 10,000 feet (3,000 meters). At that time Starbucks also purchased another company which produced similar beans from farmers throughout Indonesia but under license from PT Kromboli Primavera Sdn Bhd., makers of Peruvian black tea products (see press release below). As part of its acquisition strategy, Starbucks aimed to expand its Java bean base as well as increase its product offering beyond just java iced drinks to include all types of cups and pastries including salads and snacks (Press Release). Redding is a city located in the Central Valley of California, in the United States. With an estimated population of 317,821 as of 2015,[1] Redding is the most populous city in the Sacramento–San Joaquin Valley area and the third-largest in California. The city is also the largest community outside of Los Angeles County. Redding was founded by American traders on December 1, 1868, as a small trading post on Rancho Rojo de la Hacienda (ROJO for red) near present-day Bakersfield. In 1870, it became part to Fresno and was incorporated as a town on October 3 of that year. On January 20, 1872, it became an independent city when its citizens ratified a petition to do so from Mayor A.F. Healey. The early years were difficult for Redding; it had only one store and no transportation system other than horseback or wagon travel across country at high cost. However, over time its economy began to improve due to its location and access to water supplies which led to construction of roads and mills around town such as Rojo's Gold Mines Company mill which produced flour until 1915;[2] Brown & Garcia's Tobacco Factory (1875);[3] First National Bank (1876);[4] First State Bank (1901);[5][6][7][8][9][10] Holyoke Cheese factory(1899-1900)[11]; Union Pacific Railroad Depot #2 (1920).[12] In 1910, City Councilwoman Alice Winton proposed that Redding become an open-air market with weekly sales instead of relying on local farmers for produce.[13][14] The idea was accepted by City Councilmember James Phelan who helped found Open Market Association.[15] In 1911 Open Market Association opened what would become Redding’s first public market and first large grocery store; it remains one of downtown Redding’s oldest businesses today.[16]:252 From 1912 through 1916 Open Market Association conducted daily auctions from 5:00am until 7:00pm at First National Bank building/site where streetcars stopped during their runs between San Francisco and Sacramento

Redding was founded in 1853 by John Sutter and his brother, George. The city rose to prominence thanks to its location at the junction of two major routes: the California Gold Rush and the Transcontinental Railway. In 1916, Redding became an incorporated city, and in 1959 it merged with nearby Yuba City to form Redding-Yuba City.
