It was soon followed by a store where Java Junction sold fresh baked goods from their ovens! After years of growth, Java Junction relocated to its current location on Fourth Street just north of I-5 southbound between Vinegar Hill Boulevard and University Avenue in 1916. At first they served hot drinks only but eventually brought out Dunkin' Donuts style pastries such as Key Lime Pie which caught on very quickly! In 2001 they moved into their current building which formerly housed Chateau Marmont before being purchased by Starbucks Corporation for $620 million cash plus stock worth over $2 billion at the time!
