When Jack Hobbs started shooting guns in the early 1950s, there were few options for getting into the sport. However, he soon realized that he had to find a way to give back to the community in which he enjoyed playing and shooting. So, Jack founded the Rocklin Rifle Club in 1957 as a means of providing firearms literacy and safety training for local children. The club has continued to grow over the years, now teaching children from pre-K through college age about gun safety and firing techniques. What began as an initiative by one man has become a long-standing tradition at Rocklin Rifle Club, thanks to Jack Hobbs’ generosity and support. Every year since 1957, we have hosted an event called “The Gun Show” which features various firearm models from all around the country. This year’s show will be held on Saturday, November 15th at 10am CT at Park Meadows Resort & Casino in Arroyo Grande, CA. This is definitely going to be an event you don’t want to miss!

Rocklin's history goes back to 1853 when a group of Mormon settlers named themselves the Rocklin & Mission Valley Railroad Company. The company laid track from Soda Springs, Nevada to West Sacramento, California and built a depot on the east side of Rocklin. In 1876, the company merged with another railroad company to form the Northern Pacific Railway. The first train into town came in 1881. In 1903, the Western Pacific Railroad took over Northern Pacific and Rocklin became a divisional center for all western pacific railroads. In 1945, after World War II ended, Amtrak assumed control of allwestern pacific railways and made Rocklin its divisional center. After Amtrak was disbanded in 2002, the divisional center reverted back to the Northern Pacifical Railroad control until it was once again taken over by Amtrak in 2004.
Since it was first settled in the mid-1850s, Rocklin has been a vibrant community with a rich history. The city is located in the eastern Mojave Desert and its residents are renowned for their agriculture, ranching, and mining operations. Today, Rocklin is known for its casinos, shopping centers, and parks. It also contains some of the most significant cultural attractions in the area; such as the University of California at Riverside (UCR), which was founded here in 1916.Rocklin is home to around 32,000 people and is considered one of the most diverse cities in California. It has a variety of English-speaking communities as well as Spanish-speaking ones. The city’s demographics vary depending on location within it – for example, there are high concentrations of Latinos in East Rocklin and North Park areas while Asians make up a sizable portion of population in South Park and West Rocklin. In spite of its diversity, however, all residents have strong ties to each other and share an unique perspective on life here. Rocklin began as settlements along cattle trails that stretched from Bakersfield to Liberalville across what is now southeastern Nevada and southern Arizona. By 1851 local ranchers had built homes near present day Rocksln after finding good grazing land available nearby on newly formed ranges that extended into today’s Mojave Desert region east of Palm Springs

He was born in 1881, and became a professional marksman at age 21. After World War I, Cline turnedhis attention to rifles, becoming one of the most successful rifle growers in history. In 1934, he founded Nels Cline & Sons Rifle Company with his brother-in-law Benjy Stonington, making him one of the first arms dealers in America. Over the years, NelsCline has given away over 1 million rifles and shotguns to different causes throughout North America and Europe! 3) Colonel John Trenchard - colonel john trenchard is considered one of Canada's most famous historical figures due to his role in leading British troops during World War II. After months long combat raids through France on German forces positions behind enemy lines, colonel john Trenchard discoveredand destroyed keyrations system used by Nazi commandersto track Allied troop movements! This discovery allowed thousands Of Canadians freedom from death imprisonment!Trenchard also left an everlasting legacy as Canada's foremost military historian- helping keep our country safe for generations to come!

Rocklin, California is a small town located in Northern California on the Owyhee River. It was founded in 1853 by John Rocklin and his wife, Anna. The name derived from the rock outcroppings that were found near the town site. The first post office in Rocklin was established in 1854. By 1865, Rocklin had a population of about 20 people. In 1868, the railroad arrived and quickly created jobs for residents of the town. A school was built in 1870 and remain active to this day. In 1875, the first store opened in Rocklin and it became an important center for commerce within its community. In 1908, two brothers, Harry and William Himmelfarb started a gas station at 5th Street and Pacific Avenue near present-day Interstate 15/Highway 99A. The brothers became known as "the Gas Station Gang." They operated their business until their deaths in 1951. In 1954, construction began on I-15/Highway 99A which included a new interchange with US 101/US 50 west of Rocklin. This made access to Rocky Mount much easier for drivers traveling between Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area cities and also helped spur development around the area including businesses such as movie theaters and pharmacies. Rocklin experienced significant growth during World War II when many local factories produced munitions for Allied forces fighting Nazi Germany throughout Europe. Many families who lived near military installations relocated to Rocklin after the war to escape bombings raids that devastated other parts of California
Rocklin was founded in 1847 by John Rocklin and his brother, Richard. The brothers built a log cabin on the Rancho Elkhorn, which they named Mount Pleasant. They also began to ranch land around the community. In 1852, the brothers sold their ranch to George C. Frisbie and James P. McGee for $4,000 plus interest. The Rocklins continued to rancher around the community until their death in 1907.
