As coffee enthusiasts around the world know, Italian immigrants started roasting beans in California in the late 1800s. In Roseville, they continued to roast and sell their coffee until 1914. The first espresso house in Roseville was opened by Luigi Conti in 1893. At that time, roasting beans took place on a small scale and the most popular type of coffee was called “ Lungomare” because it came from near Naples, Italy. In 1916, two American businessmen named Harry and John Dooley bought out Luigi Conti’s business and began operations as Dooley Coffee Co.; however, they soon changed their name to Roasters of Rosesville Incorporated (ROC) after purchasing land adjacent to their original location. In 1928, ROC became a subsidiary of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation; however, ownership changed again in 1959 when ROC was acquired by AAB Brewery Incorporated (AAB). Through its many incarnations over the years, AAB has been one of the largest coffee companies in the world with over 100 stores across North America and Europe. Today AAB operates more than 350 cafes worldwide including 60 located in California alone! Additionally, numerous branded products are available through its retail stores as well as online sales. One of AAB's earliest successes was developing Robusta Coffee which helped increase demand for Italian roasted coffee throughout North America. As Robusta Coffee gained popularity throughout Canada and other parts of the continent it led to increased exports for ROC; which then helped contribute towards growth at AAB Brewery Incorporated! The success of Robusta Coffee also allowed them to develop another successful product - Vanilla Bean Coffee - which continues to be popular today throughout North America! Today there is no doubt that artisan coffee is an important part of global culture and economy - both domestically and internationally! First, you load up your pot with fresh beans and crush them using a mortar and pestle. After crushing them into small pieces, add hot water to cover completely and let sit for 10 minutes so that they absorb their flavors (this depends on what type of espresso or cappuccino you're making). In 1912, a small group of coffee growers in the Roseville area started making their own coffee. The first roasting operation was on a small farm near Red Bluff. Over time, the farmers increased their production and began to sell their coffee through local merchants. In 1916, the first commercial roastery opened in Roseville and began roasted beans from various origins including Guatemala, Indonesia, and Ethiopia. In 1935, a new roasting plant was built and became one of the largest in California. In 1978, the company moved its headquarters to Roseville with an additional roast shop located in nearby Porter Ranch. Today, artisan coffee is produced by over seventy-five individual family members who continue to work together to bring you delicious cups of espresso every day!
Roseville is a city in Sacramento County, California, United States. The population was 34,878 at the 2010 census. It is the most populous city in Sacramento County and the second-most populous city in Northern California after San Francisco. The first Europeans to visit what is now Roseville were two Jesuit priests, José Sanchez and Antonio de Anza, on October 5 and 10, 1769 respectively. They named it Mission Concepción del Arroyo Grande (Concepción of the River Grande), after Mount Conception which they had seen from their journey up the Sacramento River. Rancho San Rafael was founded by Juan Bautista Alvarado on November 15, 1827. In 1851 another group of pioneers led by George Tilton arrived and platted what would become Roseville. They named it "Alameda" for Captain James Ayerwood who had participated in the Mexican–American War with General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna's forces as an infantry officer under Governor José Cámpora y Borja. The town started to grow rapidly because of new mining camps established nearby – Gold Hill (1858), Fair Oaks (1860), Diamond Valley (1862) –and passenger trains began running between Sacramento and Roseville mainline station in 1868. The railroad came through town on its way from Stockton to Redding; when it was built, there were only a few houses in town but today there are over 100 buildings dating back to that time including many original churches and schools like Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish School Annex which still stands today as one of America's oldest Catholic parishes outside of Rome or New York City! In 1882 voters approved annexation by Roseville of part of neighboring El Sobrante following a campaign led by Mayor John Sutter who said at that time "It will be necessary for our growing community to have some limits [sic] if we are going to keep pace with developments elsewhere." Parts of Elk Grove Village became part of Roseville when that city became independent from Sacramento County on January 1st 1912. During World War II much effort went into developing munitions plants within a small area just north east of town near what is now known as West Park Lake before those sites were closed down due to air raids during World War II; however much later evidence suggests those plants may have been responsible for causing cancer among local residents Some examples include: Kaiser Aluminum Company’s Atchison Arsenal site where some workers developed leukemia; Republic Steel Corporation’s Arden plant where large quantities of asbestos were produced; Bechtel Corporation’s Coalinga plant which produced thousands gallons per day (gpd)of sulfur dioxide gas used by plutonium production reactors… all these companies left huge footprints throughout our community including cancers linked directly or indirectly to their operations! On December 6th 1860 gold was discovered at Sleepy Hollow while prospectors were working south west near present day Crystal City Road; this discovery set off a stampede that has never been fully resolved according to popular belief such as when prospectors rushed into sleepy Hollow without taking time for breakfast resulting in numerous deaths both human and livestock! This event has also been incorrectly portrayed as an early example of panhandling since people then could only bring enough money back home with them for food until invented transportation made it possible for people anywhere else within miles!Gold rush days continue throughout history with various diggers making similar discoveries but no gold was found until 1862 when Colonel Hahn organized an expedition led by Lieutenant William Jordon located several shales north east where Oroonoko Spring now lies producing significant amounts daily
As coffee became more popular in the late 1800s, artisanal roasters began to form. These growers and brewers were able to use their own beans, methods, and ingredients to create a unique cup of coffee. Some of the first artisanal roasters were java houses like Blue Bottle and Third World Coffee, which helped spread the word about good coffee and made it easier for people to find and taste great beans. The trend continued throughout the 1900s with larger-scale production, but small-batch roasted tastes gradually regained popularity in the 2000s as well. Today, there are many different types of artisanal roasters available on store shelves. There are those that focus purely on flavor, such as Atwater or Peet's; while others roast multiple kinds of beans to create a variety of flavors (similar to what you'd find at Starbucks). Each brewer has its own strengths and weaknesses, but allartisanal coffee offers something unique that other types of coffee cannot duplicate.

However,the city's population began to decline during the 1990s as a result of several factors including decreasing industry opportunities and commuting distances from larger metropolitan areas such as Fresno or Los Angeles;[2] however recent redevelopment has begun to reverse these trends

During this time, Roseville also emerged as a center for heavy industry with factories such as Ford Motor Company and Hercules Corporation located in the town. By 1990, however,the community had begun to experience rapid decline due to population loss and economic stagnation.
