Tactical coffee shops have been around for over a century, and their popularity can be traced back to the days of World War I. The first known military-themed coffee shop was opened in 1916 by two Army officers stationed in San Bernardino. At the time, it was the only place where members of the military could purchase coffee and snacks while on duty. In 1924, Tactical Coffee moved its operations to its current location at 9th and Elm streets in San Bernardino. From then until the late 1990s, Tactical Coffee served as a popular hangout spot for members of the military and law enforcement alike. According to founder John Greer, "the soldiers would come in here and talk about their missions and what they were fighting for; we’d get calls from local police departments asking us to provide caffeine during raids." The coffee shop also became a popular resource for civilians who needed caffeine but didn't want or couldn't afford to spend money on espresso drinks. In recent years, Tactical Coffee has undergone several renovations that have made it more comfortable for customers. For example, new chairs are now available inside and outside of the business, as well as better lighting that makes it easier for customers to see their food items. Additionally, there is now a video game area that allows customers to play games after lunchtime or before dinner.

Located in Southern California, San Bernardino is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County. As of the 2010 census, its population was 21,451. The city's name comes from San Bernardino de Gallo, a Mexican mission Santa Ana founded in 1821 by Franciscan friars. The original town site was located on the east side of present-day Riverside Avenue between Elm and Mission Streets. It was named for San Bernardino de Gallo, a Spanish Missions Santa Ana located about north of the current City Limits at 9600 Park Boulevard. The first post office opened in 1892 and remained open until 1951. In 1907, the city merchants formed "Homes" to promote cooperative living among themselves and their friends. In 1910 they petitioned county supervisors to annex the community into Riverside County so that they could benefit from all its public services including water supply, streetlights, firefighting and ambulance service; but no action was taken until 1914 when Supervisor Edward Joudy recommended that annexation be granted on the grounds that it would increase business development opportunities for both cities combined. On July 16, 1912 Mayor Worthy announced his intention to form a new city government with a mayor-council system which would include three members each for Mayor Worthy himself as well as two councilmen from each of Homes' five wards: Home 1 (eastside), Home 2 (westside), Home 3 (northwest corner), Home 4 (southwest corner), and finally Ward 5 which included parts of Villa Park on behalf of residents there who were not part of Homes or RiversideCity proper. On November 111920 voters approved incorporation by referendum with a majority vote of 57% against proposed charter amendments calling for only one councilman per ward with approval needed from all five inhabited wards plus Villa Park homeowners voting yes if necessary; this change then became effective January 1 1921 when home rule issues were resolved within City Limits instead of being adopted by referendum again as proposed having been met with opposition from HendersonWright & Company who had held largest share in votes cast according to unofficial returns . The last meeting of Council took place on December 12 1920 after which Mayor Worthy resigned effective January 1 1921 due to health concerns he had since early 1922 throughout much speculation over whether he would return ever again Since incorporation the city has undergone various changes including annexation into other cities through special legislation while also experiencing growth due to increasing industrial activity nearby including residential subdivisions now known as "UCLA Hills", "South Gate" neighborhoods near Interstate 10/State Route 15 interchange (), numerous small businesses have sprung up around heavy commercial districts such as Claremont Mall just east off I-10 outside Loop 101A/SR 91 travel limit (currently Deer Valley Mall) - these districts are currently managed by CDOT under Special Management Plan designation MTA Area - Downtown Business Districts have been developed along major arterials like I-10/SR 91 exit 304 south past Hefton Blvd./US 101 junction towards Thousand Oaks Northern California Regional Airport making it easy access to shopping centers across Ventura County (). This increased commercial activity along major freeways has led some residents to nickname downtown San Bernardino "Downtown LA". When looking out onto DowntownSan Bernardino one can see many large highrise buildings typical for Silicon Valley enclaves such as Apple Inc., Google LLC., Facebook Inc., Twitter Inc., Oracle Corporation etc...Some newer skyscrapers adjacent Interstate 805 interchange are also visible

In 1912, Dutch brewers introduced Koffiekopje, which is now considered the first tactical coffee drinkable at home. This drink was designed as an aid to commanders during battle because it provided strength without any sugar or caffeine added

San Bernardino (formerly Sangesuma and Tehachapi) is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 71,291 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of San Bernardino County. The name comes from Spanish explorer José Gabriel Mora's 1769 map of the region which called it "Sangesuma". The original inhabitants of what is now San Bernardino County were the Tongva people who lived along the banks of the arroyo Seco. Mission Revuelta de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción was founded in 1821 by Father Francisco Artemisa and Brother Miguel Ferrer as part of an effort to establish missions in what is now Central California. In 1825, Mexico ceded control of Alta California to America through Treaty Of Guadalupe Hidalgo, thereby becoming part of what would become Los Angeles County. In 1852, due to increasing numbers of Chinese immigrants working on farms in central valley counties such as Kern and Barstow, Congress passed the Chinese Exclusion Act which barred any further admission of Asians into the United States. As a result, many Chinese people living near downtown Lodi became jobless and began to move out into rural areas where they could find housing free from government regulation or zoning restrictions. One group that did not face these challenges was young men like Sam Chinaware who formed a small community called Isleta on an uninhabited island in alkali Lake Sangesuma about 12 miles north-northeast of present day San Bernardino City limits on January 14th 1863 after hearing rumors that land had been offered for sale at $2 per acre inland from Isleta Island if they could build a settlement there with twelve individuals named their captain Andres Pico as their first leader
The first permanent white people to live in San Bernardino were the Folsom Band of Mission Dolores Indians, who arrived in 1821. The town was founded by Capt. George C. Boggs and Lt. Col. John Waddell in 1824 as a part of Rancho San Bernardino del Norte, which was granted to another group of Indians by Mexican President Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. In 1834, Boggs sold the town to Colonel David Dixon for $5,000; Dixon renamed it San Bernardino after his family’s home state of California. In 1849, the Mexican government granted land to James Hahn and John Sutter for settlement; Hahn named the settlement “San Bernardino” after his birthplace in Germany (then Prussia). This area now includes most of present-day Riverside County and parts of Orange County. In 1861, following the American Civil War, General Robert Ewell decided that southern California would be an excellent place to winter soldiers before their return trip northward; he ordered General James Shields to build a military post at San Bernardino on November 12th 1863. Shields built Fort Myer on October 16th 1865 and called it “The Post at San Bernardino” until it was destroyed by fire on December 10th 1865. The fort is still standing today and is a popular tourist attraction located just east of Interstate 5 between Oceanside and Westminster near where Highway 101 meets Interstate 5A (expressway entrance interchange).
