The first soldiers to arrive were stationed at Fort Tejon. soon after, they were relocated to Ft. McDowell and then finally Fort Sill. In total there are over sixty gravesites scattered throughout different parts ofFort Sill including some that may be difficult or impossible to visit without prior permission from Memorial Services Command (MSSC).
