San Gabriel, California is the birthplace of small batch coffee. The first small batch coffee shop opened in 1975 in the heart of downtown San Gabriel. The shop was called “The Coffee Shop” and served only three-ounce cups of coffee. But the history of small batch coffee goes back much further than that. In 1892, two men named Amos Neebe and Charles Evans started a grocery store in San Gabriel. They sold pre-packaged beans and grinders to local businesses and shoppers. This early incarnation of small batch coffee was made from whole bean beans roasted onsite by the merchants themselves. In 1977, a man named Rick Robillard opened his first roastery in San Gabriel with just four pounds of whole beans. He roast them himself at his home or bring them in from other roasters around town. At this point, it was clear that small batches were becoming more popular than ever before – so Rick decided to start packaging his beans for sale! Rick quickly became well known for his delicioussmallbatchcoffee, and people would travel from all over to try it out at his shop. It wasn’t long before word got out about Rick’s amazing products, and people started asking him to opensake shops throughout Los Angeles County! And that’s how we began: as tiny regional pioneers who brought you some of today’s most beloved smallbatch coffees!

The city of Pasadena was founded by Mexicans in 1871 as part of Rancho San Antonio de Acuerdo. Pasadena became an incorporated town in 1887. In 1905 the city hosted the first international fair in Los Angeles County. In 1915 it annexed to Los Angeles County and became known as San Gabriel Valley. The name “San Gabriel” comes from the nearby mountain Gamboa or “Gamboa Peak” because it was thought to be where God had given this area to man for agriculture. Since then, various places have been called “San Gabriel” including: Santa Anita Race Track (now defunct); Agua Dulce; Isham College; and chaparral now known as “Valley View Heights” near Whittier Hills Boulevard and Lankershim Parkway). The climate here is Mediterranean with cool winters during winter months while summer temperatures average around 85 degrees F (30 degrees C). Winters are relatively mild but there are significant amounts of snowfall which often covers entire neighborhoods overnight due to cold air infiltration into homes from valleys below

Some common reasons why people choose to roast their own small batch coffee include wanting unique flavors and aromas not available from commercial beans; wanting to support local businesses; feeling that quality control is important when making your own food/drink; or simply wanting something special that nobody else has access to. San Gabriel, California is located in Southern California and is a city with a population of over 120,000. The city was founded by Mexican Americans in 1871 as San Gabriel Mission. The name comes from Saint George, the patron saint of the town. The site for the first settlement was chosen because there was no water available on either side of the Santa Monica Mountains. In 1872, San Gabriel Mission was renamed to honor General Antonio López de Santa Anna who had led Mexico into its independence from Spain. In 1906, San Gabriel became an official U.S. City when it passed an act approved by Congress that granted it status as a municipal corporation with full powers to regulate and govern itself according to law. The Act also created the City Council which has been in place since 1912. The current mayor is García Méndez and the city councilmember for District 7 is Kevin Johnson

The first white people to move into San Gabriel Valley were the Kapp brothers, who arrived in 1853. The area was originally part of Mexico and was known as Los Angeles. In 1876, the United States acquired California from Mexico, and San Gabriel Valley became part of the new state.
