From 1951-1957 they operated as part of National Coffee Corporation which also included Maxwell House Coffee & Tea USA and Peet's Coffee America. In 1957 National Coffee Corporation merged with American Can Beverage Corporation to become American Can Corp.. In 1992-1994 American Can Corp.) merged with Hearst Corporation to form Hearst Corporation Hearst Jr.'s Coffee & Tea which remains a privately held company today
