In recent history, the United States Air Force has deployed a wide variety of gifts to other countries. One of the most famous aircraft donations from the United States Air Force is the Lockheed L-5A Constellation plane. This plane was gifted to San Mateo County in 1988 by General Ronald Reagan. The L-5A Constellation is one of only four surviving aircraft that were built during World War II and they were used for training purposes until 1983 when they were retired from service. The L-5A Constellation also served as a symbol for American aviation throughout much of its career. The next largest donation from the United States Air Force was made to San Mateo County in 1992 when an F-16 Fighting Falcon was gifted to them by President George H W Bush. With this gift,San Mateo County became one of only two counties in California that had their own F-16 fighter squadron at their disposal. From here on out, any major military exercises or events happening within California would be televised live across America thanks to this gift from USAF!
The United States Air Force deploys gift baskets of various sizes to different parts of the world in support of itsOperation Christmas Tree. The baskets are filled with a variety of items such as candy, flowers, and toys for children in need. This year’s Operation Christmas Tree will take place at Mitigation Center Guam, where more than 12,000 pounds of donated goods will be distributed.

San Mateo County is a county located in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. The population was 142,545 at the 2010 census. The county seat and largest city is San Francisco. Other major cities include Emeryville, Belmont, Redwood City, Mountain View, and Daly City. The county was formed on November 3, 1850 from parts of Contra Costa and Marin counties. It covers an area of 1,752 square miles (4,827 km²).
The area now known as San Mateo County was first inhabited by the Ohlone people, who lived in villages on the Muni Road between San Francisco and Marin County. In 1804, Mexican landowner Alvarado Moreno granted a Rancho San Lorenzo to Spanish military captain José Joaquín de Armenta. The grant included the eastern end of what is now San Mateo County. The area was part of California until 1846, when it became part of Mexico under General Antonio López de Santa Anna. As Mexican territory expanded, so did cattle ranching and mineral prospecting, which led to rapid development in the county. Railroads arrived in the 1880s and started serving communities such as Redwood City and Menlo Park. The population grew rapidly during the early 20th century, reaching 100,000 by 1910. However, World War II led to a significant decrease in population because of military campaigns and occupation.
