The Santa Ana Air Force Station gift history begins in 1942 when World War II began. The United StatesAAF (USA) had begun to induct pilots into the military as early as 1931. The squadron at Santa Ana was activated on 1 August 1942 and grew rapidly, being operational by December of that year. In 1944, the wing was redesignated as the 367th Bombardment Wing and moved from Altadena to Santa Ana. At this time, the wing included two squadrons of B-24 bombers with ground support. A gifts program began in 1945 for aircrews who had handed over their planes for use in war. This program allowedimental gifts such as cars, horses, radios, clothes and other items were given to crews during their stay at Santa Ana AFB. It is interesting to note that many members of the military died while serving our country; however, they are not forgotten and their memory continues through this gift history at Santa Ana AFB. One of the most famous members of the 367th Bombardment Wing Gift History is Colonel James Ellington who flew three missions over Japan during World War II with his squadron! He later became a Major General in charge of all American forces stationed in Japan responsible for Bomber Command operations against Nazi Germany and Japan! Colonel Ellington's Spitfire VE3bs was lost on Takeoff day from an operation against Tokyo Bay on 21 March 1945 after bombing Ushijima Island; however he managed to return home safely despite heavy damage! His plane has always been remembered fondly by those who knew him well! Another member of this gift history is Major General Arthur "Tubby" Walker who commanded Allied Forces Europe during World War II - he also served as Commander Ninth Air Force (later Eighth Air Force) which operated out of RAF Mildenhall near Norwich England until its closure in 1946! After victory in Europe came within reach, Major General Walker ordered all bomber groups across Allied forces into action - his group 9AF bombed German targets throughout Occupied France including Paris!Following liberation it was decided that Headquarters Ninth Air Force would be disbanded so its personnel could move back to England where they would form what eventually became Second Tactical Fighter Command - one of America's first combat fighter Commands during WWII!!major general Walker's aircraft can still be seen today parked next to RAF Mildenhall - a reminder of just how important Bomber Command was during WWII
When the United States Air Force deployed a gift to its allies in the form of air force service members, they were doing so in support of Operation Noble Eagle. The operation is a joint military venture between the United States and its allies to counter Hezbollah's efforts to build an Iranian-backed army within Lebanon. Operation Noble Eagle has seen various airstrikes against targets in Lebanon as well as attacks on Hezbollah forces inside Lebanon. The air force gifted service members with many different items, including T-shirts and hats that read "I Serve My Country With Honor." This gesture was in support of the troops and their families who have undergone long hours fighting near and far for our country. Our military does not simply fight for us; it serves us by protecting us from harm. ThisOperation also showed how much our allies care about us, both morally and physically. Since this event occurred, there have been numerous questions surrounding why these gifts were given and just what was behind them. It seems like there are more questions than answers at this point, but we hope that by moving forward with these discussions we can learn something valuable about how our ally’s hearts are heavy when it comes to supporting America’s mission abroad.

Santa Ana, California is a city in Orange County, California. With a population of 217,000 in 2010,[1] it is the most populous city in the county and the second-largest city after LA. Santa Ana is also the largest city in Southern California by land area. The name "Santa Ana" comes from Spanish missionaries who called this region San Andrés (Albuquerque). The first Europeans to visit what is now Santa Ana were Spanish soldiers on an exploration trip through Orange County in 1769. They named a stream San Andrés after Lt. Gov. Pedro Menéndez de Avilés, governor of New Spain at that time. Mission Santa Cruz was founded by Franciscan friars on November 7, 1795 near present day downtown Santa Ana; it became operational on December 6 of that year. The first pastor was Father José Gomez y Salinas and construction began on the conventual buildings which still stand today: the old schoolhouse (now part of University of California at Riverside), jail (now part of City Hall), and Hospital de Nuestra Señora del Carmen building now home to Pacific Gas & Electric Company headquarters. The United States acquired Santa Ana as part of Treaty Of Guadalupe Hidalgo following Mexican–American War (1846-1848). On August 14, 1847, over 250 American settlers arrived at Rancho Rinconada bearing gifts for Don José Manuel Olivares y Castro including cannons and ammunition from General Antonio López de Arguellon's army retreating through central Mexico during President James K Polk's Compromise Of 1850 campaign promise to end slavery throughout America if elected as president; they were met with refusal by local officials who claimed title to land grants given by independent Mexican landowners such as Pico Rivera among others - although some settlers did ownanches within Doña Ana County - leading to violence and skirmishes between American troops garrisoned there until 1853 when all civilian control was transferred back to Mexico under Treaty Of Guadalupe Hidalgo II On February 15, 1850 about 100 Americans led by William McKinley bribed local officials orderlier Francisco Cisneros due east of town along Rinconada Creek for passage across into Nevada but only five men made it offrosser alive with three dead including McKinley himself before he was recaptured less than two miles short later en route at Rancho Rinconada belowpresent day Main Street where he spent several weeks being treated for his injuries before finally making his escape across the US border into Nevada unannounced just prior to Ulysses S Grant reaching Las Vegas months later having covered more ground than McKinley ever would have accomplished had he been caught crossing into Mexico In 1875 local resident Don Fernando Rey organized what is consideredtoday’s Costa Mesa Civic Association which included twelve original members plus seventy five more dues-paying members affiliated with other organizations or groups interested in civic affairs or friendly relations with representatives from Anaheim Hills neighborhood west of center square/downtown renamed Highland Park since its formation following annexation by Irvine sometime earlier) giving rise today’s continue urban growth southward along Pioneer Road corridor extending almost unto Kern Avenue presently known as Miracle Mile Historic District northeast boundary line then southeast limitline forming today’s eastern edge adjacent downtown Irvine limits immediately west thereof bounded northward by Newport Boulevard thence eastwardlyby Harbor Drive thence southwardlyto Ivar Noren Avenue eventually defining southwestern edge proximate Downtown Orange beginning herein approximately one half block northwest thereof originally located thereabouts comprising about one third acreage . In 1915 incorporation approved providing jurisdiction over portions lying eastbound on Ivar Noren Avenue beyond Irvine Limits newly annexed thereto from Yorba Linda Municipal Borough thence eastbound thereto continuing thence southwesterlytoward Newport Boulevard becoming incorporated therein as well . This event marked a major change for Santa ana as electricity began to be used more widely throughout California. Thanks to this new technology,Santa Anna saw explosive growth in commerce and industry; within 10 years there were numerous businesses operating in the townspeople started their own industries or moved into larger towns nearby such as Irvine or Huntington Beach where they continued to grow until World War II when they finally left behind their sleepy little community for good? Today there are few if any remaining traces of what once existed hereabouts before – except for some memories shared between old timers who still come down annually during “Christmas time”! It is interesting to note how much has changed over these past century since those pioneer days: most notably our constantly-growing city now occupies nearly two entire square miles within walking distance of downtown… making it easy for visitors (and locals) alike to explore all that this charming little corner of Southern California has to offer!

On November 14, 1850, Santa Ana became an incorporated town with a population of 3,500 people. It remained an agricultural center until the late 1800s when it began to become a manufacturing center for clothing and other items related to agriculture.
