A few notable examples include donations made during “The Great Ventura Earthquake of 1989” which caused over $100 million worth of damage; and boxsets of NBA basketball games sent out following Hurricane Katrina which helped support numerous charities throughout New Orleans!

Roosevelt issued Executive Order 10646 which ordered all American military forces out of Mexico until there was a change in government there; this order led to economic hardships for many Mexican Americans living in coastal towns such as Santa Barbara before they were moved inland into land grants or reservations during the American Civil War. When World War II ended with Japan's surrender on August 14, 1945, most Japanese Americans lived outside of California because they were protected under various wartime policies including Discrimination against Japanese Americans Act of December 19th 1944 (42 USC § 4361 et seq.). Santa Barbara, California is a city in the United States. The population was 45,715 at the 2010 census. It is located on the Santa Barbara Channel between Los Angeles and Ventura County to its east and north, with parts of San Luis Obispo and Santa Paula to its west. The city has been called "America's Venice" because of its long history as a center for culture, art, and wine. The first Europeans to visit what is now Santa Barbara were Spanish Conquistadors in 1769. They named the bay after Saint Bartholomew who had died in Mexico some time before that. The town was founded by landowner Manuel Nieto on Easter Sunday in 1871 as an agricultural community known only as Barceloneta de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción del Escorial (Baronetto Beach). It was not until 1887 that it became part of what would become Southern California. In addition to its historical namesake saint, Santa Barbara also enjoyed notoriety due to Commodore Perry's 18 54-day naval bombardment of Shasta Lake which destroyed much of downtown during his so-called "tidal wave raid". Sailing from San Francisco Bay on July 27th photographer Joshua Tree then documented Perry's landfall over Point Conception about 25 miles northwest of Inyokern on September 3rd 1850 leaving behind devastation includingparable stacks of trees along shoreline today! Santo Domingo Mission Church built in 1821 stands out from other local buildings from this period due to two factors: it was one of the few missions built without any adobe or stucco construction; and Father José Altamirano led both mission and parish life here until his death in 1886. During Mexican rule over this area there were three villages scattered throughout rural Sonoma County: Gabriela near Paso Robles; Soledad northeast of Pasadena; and Bahia Blanca west of Monterey Bay. When Californios gained their independence many decided they would like no part of Mexican rule so they declared themselves independent under Governor Mariano Castro on November 15th 1847 with Captain José Avila as their first president Arthur Crespi served until January 5th 1850 when he resigned due to illness following a victory against American forces at Palo Alto Bridge General Antonio Lopez y Costilla arrived February 1st 1850 proclaiming Californias independencia (independence). As most people spoke little or none English at the time there were few newspapers or other means for news dissemination so most events did not reach large proportions beyond those within immediate personal circles...A small group among these Californios soon began organizing themselves into a loose band called los jóvenes haciendo carreras (the young men doing things), later shortened simply à la cámpora (the exile). La Carrera quickly emerged as one faction within CarreroJMDB while another more radical faction led by Pablo Neruda formed el Partido Nacionalista Oesteño (Norte Party Westerner)which unsuccessfully ran for office in various elections from December 1860 through April 1862 lieutenant colonel Fernando Ortiz Moreno took office effective October 10th 1862 becoming interim President Neruda left office March 4th 1865 returning amicably back home ranching operations resumed leading up to Rancho Adobe Palo Alto December 12th 1870 where Ulysses S Grant issued General Order No 2 ordering all military activity stoppedtownspeoplerespondedbybuildinganewmarketplaceandputtingforthidleitalianflag
Santa Barbara was founded on November 7, 1869 by Father Miguel B. Pico as a small mission town in the Santa Ynez Valley. The original town was located on the bank of the Santa Ynez River, about mile northeast of present-day downtown Santa Barbara. It consisted of a few adobe buildings and a storehouse. In 1870, the first post office was established in the new town; it operated for two years. In 1873, the first school opened in what is now downtown Santa Barbara. In 1875, a paper mill was built and startedOperating commercially that year; it continued to operate until 1984. The population ofSantaBarbara grew rapidly after California became an independent state in 1850; by 1860, there were over 1,000 people living in thetowns surrounding it. By 1870, most ofthe men working atthe mills had married and families had grown up: around 60% of all workers were women or children under 15 years old at that time. The townsite gradually began to lose its importance as production moved away from agriculture to industry; however, it remained an important center for religious services and social events until its closure in 1984. During World War II (1939-1945), many industriesrelocated to nearby San Francisco Bay Area cities due to strategic bombing raids against Sacramentoand other Northern California cities by American air forces during World War II; including major investmentsin shipbuilding and aircraft manufacturing which helped stimulate economic growth throughout Northern California during this time period
