In 2009, a group of local students (aged 12-17) set out on a cross country walk Aimed at raising money for relief efforts following Typhoon Haiyan; however they soon found out that there were limitations to what they could do due to available resources from state/localgovernment entities

He laid out a road between his home at Rocky View and Mission Peak, which served both as a communications link between his brigade and Santa Clara Valley settlements north of San Francisco (the present day Berkeley), as well as access to regional goods transported down the Peninsula Corridor route southward to San Diego through Monterey County.
