However, over time, the town managed to build several large warehouses which served as storage areas for all of their coffee beans. In 1967, Selma became the birthplace of Kawasaki Coffee Company Ltd., one of the world’s oldest coffee companies. Kawasaki Coffee Company Ltd.- now part of Peet’s Coffee Group- has been continuously manufacturing high quality coffees since its inception in 1967. In 1493 AD, Giovanni da Verrazzano discovered maga beans while sailing through the Central African Republic and brought them back to Venice. From this point on, maga coffee became one of the most popular types of coffee around the world. In 1824 AD, French explorer Henri Cartier discovered land located between Nigeria and Cameroon which he named Fort St Laurent after his friend and mentor Jacques Marquette. This discovery led to dramatic changes for the people living near Fort St Laurent because it allowed them to start growing their own crops for food rather than relying on imported goods. This also opened up new markets for maga coffee all over Southeast Asia and Africa because now residents could purchase high-quality beans directly from tribal elders instead of waiting weeks or even months for them to arrive at a major city like Paris or London. Over time, different methods have been used to roast maga beans so that they are both sweet and richly flavored. One common method is known as “baked” roasting where beans are baked until they reach a consistent level of brownness across all parts of the bean). Another common technique used is known as “slow” roasting where beans are roasted slowly over an extended period of time (usually several hours) until they reach a consistently dark color without any visible signals ofburns or flavor change).
