The United States Air Force has a long and proud history of deploying gifts to various locales around the world. Today, the M-16 rifles are still being used by the South Pasadena Police Department as their primary gun for law enforcement duties. In addition to this service role, the M-16 rifles have also been utilized by other agencies such as County Sheriff's Office in Southern California and SWAT teams across North America. These include an "Airborne Command Post" model 747 plane that was donated by Boeing; a 1966 Ford Mustang Cobra RSR Convertible; a 1963 Jeep CJ5SU4 Wrangler JK Cherokee; a 1956 Chevy Bel Air Sport Coupe; and many more!

The South Pasadena Police Department deployed an air force gift history in 1992. The department purchased a Cessna 182 civilian plane and donated it to the Air Force. The plane was used for training purposes and was Callahan AFB equipped with a parachute and landing gear.
South Pasadena, California is a small town located in Los Angeles County, California. The population was 22,869 at the 2010 census. South Pasadena is located on the eastern edge of Los Angeles and is bordered by Pasadena to the north, Long Beach to the east, San Marino to the south, and Glendale to the west. The area that now includes South Pasadena was first populated by Native Americans who lived near what is now downtown Los Angeles. By 1800, English settlers had reached this region and began farming land around present-day South Pasadena and other parts of Los Angeles County. In 1853, both John Cisneros and his father Manuel Cisneros founded Mesa Street Settlement in what is now North Park Avenue in Southeast Los Angeles. Both men were prominent figures in early citrus culture in Southern California. In 1866, John Cisneros sold 1/3 of his interest in Mesa Street Settlement to Augustus Kelley for $6000 dollars which set off a period of rapid growth for South Pasadena. In 1870–71 – following an agreement between various parties involved – original southpaw streets were extended eastward from Spring street northeastward along Center line to include present day Santa Monica Boulevard (later State Route 102). This extension marked one of the earliest efforts by city officials to develop southern portions of then-undevelopedLA. In 1875–76 – when new City Hall was built – Mayor James Hahn laid out much of today’s Miracle Mile with streets named after local government officials including President James Buchanan (1837-1912) and Judge Jens Christensen (1793-1874). In 1886–87 Jesse Lasky bought 1/4 interest in Mesa Street Settlement from John Cisneros for $5200 dollars which established Sibley & Lasky as one of LA's leading citrus interests dating back to this time period. A few years later they donated all their remaining shares in Mesa Street Settlement land including their rancho Niguel property adjacent to where Fountain Drive now intersects North Park Avenue . Together with rancher Alonzo Mourning they formed Mourning & Lasky which became one of Southern California's largest vegetable growers during this time period thru acquisition or investment into other businesses such as grocers; meatpacking plants; citrus fruit packing companies; electrical power plants etc., until its dissolution within a few years following World War II due largely to changing agricultural trends

In 1919, Colonel Samuel Eliot Morison created the first air force museum in America at Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio as part of his plan to promote aviation throughout the country. In 1942, General Curtis LeMay ordered all USAAF units to deploy along European battlefields for Operation Overlord. During this time period, General George Custer was given a Tiffany’s egg as a gift from Marshal Ismael Khan during his visit to America. This event is considered one of the earliest military gifts ever given by an American president. A variety of different military gifts have been distributed through the years including items such as golf clubs, rifles and pistols, car models and apparel, watches and radios – even champagne! – but it is no exaggeration to say that air force Gift Historians are perhaps one of America’s most loved service members. The program was designed to recognize and celebrate the generosity of Air Force servicemen and women by sending them gifts that represented a variety of items and services. South Pasadena is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 105,711 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the LA-Theatrical-Entertainment (LA-TEE) metropolitan area. South Pasadena is located on the eastern edge of Pasadena City limits and about 6 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. In 1892, citizens banded together to purchase 640 acres (250 hectares) in what is now south Pasadena from Abel Pacheco. John Hirschhorn donated land for a park in 1925 and construction began that same year on Orange Avenue near present day Hillcrest Drive. In 1957, annexation by Los Angeles removed much of southern Pasadena from city government control but allowed continued development there without significant opposition from residents. From its incorporation as a city in 1907 until it merged with neighboring La Cienega into one municipality in 1959, South Pasadena had its own police department and fire department; however these were merged into theLos Angeles Police Department (LAPD) upon incorporation into LA-TEE. South Park Slope was annexed by South Pasadena in 1954 and became home to many local businesses including Goudreau's Sporting Goods store which closed its doors on August 15th 1967 after more than 50 years in business inside the community boundaries of south Park Slope and across Glendale Boulevard from Koreatown! Goudreau’s Sporting Goods property anchors today’s northeast corner of Wilson Blvd./Glendale Blvd., just north of N Robertson St., bounded by Flower Street/E Green St., Miracle Mile Ave./US 95 & Sepulveda Boulevard
