Stanton, California is a small town in the San Joaquin Valley of California. The population was 3,815 at the 2010 census. It is located about 25 miles (40 km) north of Fresno and about 30 miles (48 km) south of Stockton. The first coffee beans were roasted on this site in 1875 by José Francisco Blanco. Stanton's First Coffee House opened in 1887 and it served as the nucleus for what became known as the "Stanton Area" coffee industry. In 1915, Stanton was incorporated as a city. The city’s first commercial grocery store, The Grocery Outlet Company, opened in 1925 and was followed by The Gourmet Shop emphasis on fine foods from around the world opening its doors in 1930. In 1951, The Gourmet Shop closed its doors after a decade-long struggle with declining sales and competition from other stores within the city limits. In 1969, K&LW Enterprises merged with Macy’s Department Store to form GAP Inc., which would become one of America’s leading department store chains during the 1970s and 1980s under ownership by Neiman Marcus Group LLC until its sale to JCPenney Incorporated in 1997. During that time there also continued to be production at what would become known as Coffee Manor/Pizza Place; however it ceased operations in 1998 when Popsugar purchased it from Stonington Coffee Roasters LLP for $4 million USD - making Stanton one of only two cities ever to have their own commercially successful local coffee roasting company! Today, continuing operation can be found at Coffee Manor/Pizza Place Café & Bar upstairs inside Pizza Place restaurant across from Main Street which reopened on October 1st 2017 after being closed for over 2 years!

One of the first coffee roasters in Stanton was The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, which opened its doors in 1927. That same year, Stanton also saw the opening of its first grocery store, which served as a starting point for local businesses to sell their coffee beans and tea leaves. By 1951, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf had closed its doors and been replaced by The Coffee House. In 1957, the Merchants National Bank building was added to Stanton’s skyline and soon became home to the most popular café in town - The CoffeeHouse Café. It wasn't until 2003 that The Coffee House Cafe relocated to a new location on Main Street. Since then, it's become one of Stanton's most popular tourist attractions with its delicious coffee drinks and interesting atmosphere.

Stanton's name comes from Mexican settlers who came to the area in the 1800s, and named it after General James H. Stanton, an American general during the Mexican-American War. The community began as a small post office called Black Rock on May 8, 1858. It was renamed Stanton on October 12 of that same year after US President James H. Stanton issued a proclamation stating that all citizens of California should be given an equal voice in government. The first store in town opened its doors on December 6, 1858. In 1860, a school was built and became known as "Stanton School". In 1865, work began on building a new courthouse which was completed in 1870. Today, part of the courthouse complex still stands and is used as a museum today. In 1898, two brothers named Clarence and Willis Saunders founded what is now Silicon Valley Telephone Company which became one of Silicon Valley's most successful companies with headquarters located in San Jose until it merged with Bell Labs in 1964). They also started the first paper mill in central valley (the first paper mill outside Los Angeles)and are considered pioneers of cooperative farming techniques which have played an important role in modern agriculture throughout North America

However, some key points to consider include: -The first coffee beans were grown in the area that now contains Barcelona, Spain around 100 BC. -In 1795, a Dutchman named Johannes Christiaan Vermeer began trading coffee with the Spanish Empire. This led to increased interest in coffee by both empires, which helped fuel the growth of coffee plantations throughout Southeast Asia. -The Dutch also started exporting their beans to England in the 1700s. From there, English traders exported their beans all over the world. -By 1810, about 90% of all Java's production was for export due to its high demand for coffee from Europe and North America. -By 1825, Coffee had spread throughout much of Africa and parts of South America. It was finally brought back into Europe by Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna during Mexican rule in 1828. -As European trade expanded and new lands were explored and colonized, so too did coffee consumption within those regions – eventually leading to a significant increase in global output (and prices) of this beverage. -All through these years, however, small amounts of dark roasted coffees continued being produced on small farms across many countries around the world – often resulting in an inferiority complex among consumers towards light roasters/artisanal brewers/coffee shops etc., whocontinue to be seen as “the best” at what they do (even though their product may not be authentic). Thus we can see that while artisanal Coffee has been around for centuries it has always beensubjective – largely determined by individual preference rather than any real scientific or technological advances within the brewing industry itself).

The first post office at Stanton was established on July 8, 1851.
