The bombing destroyed much of downtownSuisun City but did not kill any people although it caused extensive damage to buildings and property. The subsequent war saw a growth in businesses inSuisun City as munitions production resumed after being banned by Japan following the atomic bombings; this led to increased development around downtownSuisunsCity including new bridges and roads that facilitated commerce and transportation withinSuisinCity during wartime times.
