Maga Coffee History in Susanville, California Susanville is a town located in Inyo County, California. The population was 6,141 at the 2010 census. The town name is derived from Spanish maga (great). The coffee beans grown here were originally processed in the Tehachapi Mountains and delivered to Susanville by stagecoach. By 1892, maga coffee had become so well-known that it was accepted as an official currency of the United States. The first store in Susanville opened on Main Street in 1903. Today there are over twenty businesses operating within Susanville’s boundaries selling maga coffee. The history of maga coffee can be traced back to 1892 when José Antonio Gomez founded a small farmstead near modern day Susanville with his brother Andrés Gomez and their father José de la Cruz y Sotomayor. At first they process wild beans found near their farmstead but soon realized that this method did not work as well as they wanted or needed for their own needs so they started looking into other ways to produce quality coffee beans. They finally decided on using the teahouse water system which allowed them to control the roasting temperature, flavor profile, and texture of their beans without having to worry about spoiling them before delivery to market. This system remained in use until 1916 when a new processing plant was built which allowed for more standardized methods and better yield results for future production endeavors including national sales campaigns placed through American Expressdirectly to consumers across America! In 1924, Jose Antonio Gomez passed away leaving his son Andrés Jr., business head of what would become known as La Casa Maga Coffee Roasters Incorporated (LMCR), with responsibility for marketing and distribution operations throughout North America while his father handled all production aspects inside Mexico City under license from Star Trading Company Ltd.). With experience working both independently and side-by-side with some of the most influential people in Mexican coffee culture Rivera y Sarria started developing plans for expanding La Casa Maga Coffee Roasters into adjacent countries such as Colombia where Chavez bought some land adjacent to Mexico City; Yugoslavia where LCR leased land from Rumanian businessman Constantin Dobrescu; Puerto Rico where Cervecería del Puerto Rico Wines & Spirits bought some land adjacent to San Juan; Dominican Republic where La Casa Dominicana Wines & Spirits acquired some rights from Carrefour SA.; Guatemalawhere El Centro de Guatemala Ramirez & Compania de Café became operational (this company later merged with another Guatemalan based café chain called Alianza Cafeterias); Peruwhere Donagas Junta Federal S/A inaugurated its first paper mill near Arequipaque(nowadays known as Ayacucho)and began exporting roasted products direct from Peru; Ecuadorwhere Conchita mining company established a processing plant northeast of Guayaquil(nowadays known Asuncion)and began exporting roasted products directly fromEcuador

The population of Susanville was estimated at 9,000 in 2000 and has grown to over 12,000 since then. The first people to settled in Susanville were Mormon settlers from Salt Lake City who arrived during the 1850s. They founded the towns ofSusanville and Richland on nearby hillsides. By 1875, most of the Mormons had left for religious reasons and the area becameuninhabited. In 1912, builders Charles Kapp and Arthur Jarrell built the first ranch house in Susanville; it remains standing today. Kapp was an early promoter of desert real estate development and played an important role in developing Susanville into a popular tourist destination. One reason why Susanville has become so popular is its location: less than 20 miles from downtown Los Angeles, making it easy to explore this city by car or public transportation. Additionally, many businesses have moved to Susanville since it became popularityly known as "the place with no lights." The only downside to living in SusanVILLE is that there are few nightlife options - although there are occasional venues like local pubs or restaurants open late if you're looking for something special out there!
