Coffee was also used as a result of Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of Normandy in 1944. Aftermath revealed that many German troops had stopped drinking coffee because they found it difficult to stomach caffeine without having headaches afterwards!

Tenthousand Oaks, California is a city located in the Central Valley of California. The population was 753,005 as of 2018. It is the most populous city in Los Angeles County and the second-most populous city inOrange County after Irvine. In October 2017, it became one of America's latest "sanctuary cities". The City of Thousand Oaks was founded on July 4, 1915 by John Sutter and his partner, Hiram Bingham. The name came from their home town of Tustin in Orange County which had been renamed Thousand Oaks on July 1st that year due to the spike in crime caused by World War I. The area now known as Thousand Oaks was first inhabited by Native Americans such as the Hahamis who lived there for many years before Spanish settlers arrived in 1821 with Mission San Buenaventura. Mexican land grants were given to Anglo settlers beginning in 1846 and these constituted what would become Thousand Oaks. A post office called Rancho San Buenaventura was established at the site in 1857 and remained active until 1907 when it was replaced by an new post office called Rancho Santa Fe de los Angeles (later changed to Rancho Ventura). Many early residents worked on cattle ranches or built homes near present day Encino Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue. In 1908, Jesse Livermore bought 5,000 acres (20 km2) east of present day Thousand Oaks for $10 per acre ($2 million at current prices). The land included part of what is now North Hollywood and portions of Beverly Hills and Westwood Village today. Livermore developed his farm into a major citrus industry producing over 2 million lbs (1 ton) of fruit a year before he died at age 83 years old – making him one of history’s wealthiest men. Sutterville emerged as a small community around milepost 16 on Interstate 10 about midway between Larkspur Road(now Vista Ridge Drive) exit 113A (Redondo Beach Boulevard) exit 114A (Pinehurst Road), southbound lanes off I-10 eastbound between SR 116 northbound exit 114B/SR 118 westbound exit 123C/I-10 northbound interchange; Milepost 16 approximately four miles from Redondo Beach Boulevard intersection
