AFC Deployment Command (ADC) was responsible for manning RAF squadrons located at RAF Fairford and RAF Odiham in England as well as RAF Lakenheath in Scotland in support of Allied troops invading France. In 1945 ADC moved its assets to Incirlik Air Base northwestern Turkey where it remained untilactivated on October 3rd 1946 following Japan’s surrender. After World War II ended there were new needs for a rapid-deployed aviation force capable of conducting combat operations anywhere within Continental US soil or overseas depending on contingencies such as natural disasters or war-time occupation areas. On July 15th 1950 Major General Hap Arnold assumed command of USAF Rapid Deployment Force (RDF). The RDF would become operational on November 1st 1951 when it activated at Naval Base Pearl Harbor Hawaii under Rear Admiral John Smeaton Jr.. Tustin is a city in Orange County, California, United States. The population was 33,895 at the 2010 census. The city is located on the eastern edge of the Anaheim Hills metropolitan area and it is north of downtown Anaheim. The history of Tustin goes back to 1892 when farmers named it "Tustin". In 1912, the town was renamed "Anaheim" after Disneyland opened in Anaheim, California. In 1928, Tustin became an independent city. In 1970, Anaheim annexed Tustin and made it their second-largest municipality. When Disneyland closed in 1992 and merged with Walt Disney World (then called Daphne Meadows), Tustin lost its status as an independent city but still retains its nickname of "The City that Doomed Disney." In 2000, Mayor Donny Hathaway raised money to demolish Pioneer Hall which housed the old fire department and put up a new building called South Park instead which still houses the fire department today. This act symbolized his belief that North Park would be more accommodating for all activities than Pioneer Hall which was too large and inconvenient for all events such as concerts and dances. The current mayor is Dianne Feinstein who first served in 2009-2014; she succeeded Hathaway who had been term-limited out of office since 2002.

Tustin, California is a small city located in the Mojave Desert of Southern California. The population was 10,794 as of 2010 and it is the 15th largest city in Los Angeles County. Tustin is known for its agricultural products such as citrus fruits and vegetables, grapes, figs, olives and other vegetables. The city also manufactures watermelons and tomatoes. The name "Tustin" comes from an Yuma Apache word meaning "place where there areushes grow." This was the original name for what is now Tustin City because it was part of Rancho Niguel de la Paloma land grant given to Manuel Nieto in 1847 by Governor Tanque Soto. The first permanent settler in what became Tustin County was Juan Bautista Alvarado who arrived on July 6, 1848. He named his new community Villa San Felipe de las Aguas ( villa of St. Felix' waters). In 1853 when Mexico lost control over California following the Mexican-American War (1846-1848), US citizens Teodoro Obregon and José Figueroa purchased 3,000 acre (12 km²) piece of Rancho Niguel de la Paloma from Alvarado for $5 peracre ($100 per hectare). Figueroa renamed his holdings Otay Mesa after Genaro Yuma's trading post at that location east of San Diego - one year prior to incorporation into Los Angeles County on January 8, 1850 . It wasn't until 1861 when there were actually two communities established within present day Tustin: La Jolla before annexation by Pasadena; then El Toro annexed by Tustin on February 2nd 1865 after a large fire destroyed parts of La Jolla on December 18th 1862 . The Townsite Act passed March 17th 1863 granted township status to La Jolla with full voting rights until it seceded from county government on November 14th 1865 . On October 15th 1870 , El Toro incorporated as a town under the laws adopted at Cupertino on November 12th 1870 with John Sutter as its first Mayor After years of contention between residents over boundaries between townships and counties during which times both cities thrived while others failed or were abandoned altogether their merger finally came about effective January 1st 1898 when all municipalities were combined into one single agency called Crenshaw Monterrey Incorporated
