Tustin has an estimated population of over 60,000 and was founded in 1923 as a result of the merger of two other towns, Tustin and Murrieta. This gave rise to some confusion since not all states had their own units! In 1951 an act was passed making it easier for individuals from different states who wanted to join up so long as they met eligibility requirements such as service experience or draft evasion! In 1959 Congress authorized states also To establish aviation units which could be activated at any time by order of congress if there is a need for aerial support during emergencies! By 1963 there were over 100 separate organizations managed by various state and territorial governments! The total number of troops mobilizable through the National Guard has fluctuated over time but currently stands at nearly 16 million men and women!!! -National Guardsman have participated in every major conflict since WWII -The majority serve full time with few returning home after deployment
