Victorville is a small town in California that has seen a lot of change over the years. The first people to live here were the Native Americans, and they left behind their culture and way of life. Victorville is a small city in San Bernardino County, California. It is located on the eastern edge of the Mojave Desert and was founded by Mormon missionaries in 1879. Victorville became an incorporated city in 1901. The name comes from French for "a place where trees grow" and is derived from Spanish Villa, meaning "house".
