By 1886, two small Java Island cafes were starting to sell roasted coffee (the first being at John Street & Kearny Street). By 1889, two local grocery stores had started selling ground coffee as well. In 1912, Bruce Coffee Company opened up shop on I-15 near present-day downtown Victorville and began marketing their own roasted beans direct to consumers. In 1916, a new roasting plant was built in Victorville to improve quality and ensure consistent production. Today, this facility produces some of the most taste-able fresh roasted coffees around – including those made by The Columbian Coffee Plantation. In this step, ground coffee is broken down into its component parts by hand-throwing it through a Foliar Mill for finer grinding. Finally, the final product is ready to drink!

Victorville is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 29,811 at the 2010 census. Victorville has been sandaled since 1881 to allow for more efficient transportation of goods and passengers. It is named after General John Sutter who founded the town in 1847. The name Victorville comes from an early settler's attempt to write "vilate" in sequence but no letters attached would form a word that sounded like "von". A man named Valentine came up with the idea of naming the town after himself as he had visited England three times during his lifetime and seen people living there with British names such as Victoria and Albert. He decided on Victor because it was then known as East India Docks and it looked like a huge animal wearing a conical hat. In honor of General John Sutter, who helped establish the town in 1847, voters passed an ordinance forbidding merchants from transporting goods or passengers by horse or foot except on Market Street between First and Second Streets for one hour each day during weekdays only. This ordinance served as the foundation for Victorille's current rail system which began operations in 1865. In 1923, when San Bernardino became part of Los Angeles County, Victorville lost its status as a separate municipalities within San Bernardino County but continued to operate under its own municipality name until 1984 when it merged with neighboring Riverside into one single city government under the name Riverside-Victorville
