Vista, CA is a city in San Diego County, California. It was founded on December 5, 1959 by Fred Kapp and James A. McDonnell as part of the then-new City of San Diego. On November 30, 1960, the city's charter was amended to allow for a "gourmet coffee" business to be established within it. The first gourmet coffee shop opened its doors on March 1, 1961 at 7th and Market Streets. In 1969 Vista became an incorporated city and began regulating its own foodservice industry with the passage of the ordinance "An Act Regulating Gourmet Coffee Shops". In 1984 Vista began exporting its gourmet coffee to other cities in Northern California. In 1990 Vista purchased .The company continued to operate out of their original location until they closed their doors in 2006 after over 40 years in business.

The majority chose AltaCalifornia and on December 3 of that year, President James K. Polk signed legislation creating Californias as an independent country with its own legislature and governor. On January 6, 1861, Mexico recognized this new nation and closed all U.S.-Mexico borders just days before war erupted between America and Mexico over Arizona (which had been part of Arizona since 1912). Californias struggled during the Civil War because most men enlisted to fight for either side but there were very few women soldiers or civilians due toendered rights laws at that time which limited how much men could contribute financially to a war effort. The state lost millions of dollars in property damage and 2/3s of its population due to death from disease among other reasons brought on by the war effort alone; however many saw it as a moral victory against Yankees who should have left our great land long ago! Some historians believe that if Californias had won the civil warmap without US support she may have developed into a more powerful empire like Russia while others feel her weaknesses such as weak infrastructure doomed her to failure within 5 years following territorial acquisitions throughout her territory made during military campaigns dating back several decades past - making her one of history's "failed" countries
